Breakfast at the hotel. We will spend the second day of our tour in Derbent, the southernmost and most ancient city in Russia.

A visit to the Naryn-Kala citadel will reveal the ancient history of the fortress, which has protected the city from the invasion of nomads for hundreds of years. Preserved for posterity, it is a symbol of the courage and invincibility of the peoples of the Caucasus.

We will walk through the streets of the Old City and visit the Juma Mosque, built in 733. Let's plunge into the culture of the southern peoples of Dagestan and feel the oriental flavor of Derbent.

Next, there will be a feast in the ethnodome with dishes of South Dagestan cuisine: dolma, shah pilaf, chudu. Tea time.

The next stop will be at the Lun ekranoplane, an ingenious creation of Soviet engineering.

Well-preserved to the present day, preserved for several years in the coastal area of the city of Kaspiysk, it is waiting for the day when it will proudly spread its wings in the center of the Patriot Park under construction.

The liana forest is a unique piece of land located on the territory of Dagestan, covered with dense thickets of subtropical lianas. This relict forest is located in the delta of the picturesque Samur Mountain River.

The forest is home to many rare and endangered species of plants and animals that are listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation and are protected by the state.

A powerful ancient sycamore tree grows in the Samur forest, which reaches a huge size. Researchers say that this is the oldest tree in Dagestan and it is about 700-800 years old. It takes 15 to 19 people to fully encircle its trunk, standing in a circle.

The city of contrasts and national color, the capital of the Republic of Dagestan is ready to share its secrets and beauty. During the sightseeing tour, you will see Makhachkala from a bird's-eye view, climbing to the observation deck on Mount Tarki.

Next, you will go down to the main mosque of the republic, Yusuf Bey Jami, where you will get to know the architecture and interior decoration more closely.

Next, we will move on to traditional Caucasian hospitality. Lunch will be held in an institution in Makhachkala, where the national cuisine of the peoples of Dagestan will be served.

Complete your tour of the city with a walk along the Rhodope Boulevard, named after the Rhodope Mountain range in Bulgaria. There is a city embankment, a beach, a summer garden, Avar and Kumyk theaters.

The avenue is a concentration of monuments in honor of cultural and artistic figures of Dagestan. Briefly immerse yourself in the leisurely life of carefree townspeople, for whom the boulevard is a favorite place for walks.

Group transfer to the airport and railway station of Makhachkala upon departure. Departure time from Dagestan is after 17:00.
