In winter, the Elbrus region attracts guests with an abundance of snow and excellent trails. There are two mountains here — Cheget and Elbrus — where our winter skiing will take place. The incredible beauty of the mountains and the traditional Caucasian hospitality will inspire a great vacation with many vivid impressions, and the variety of trails will delight both beginners and professionals.

Combined tour: 3 days with a group, accompanied by an experienced tour guide and followed by individual rest.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Elbrus region
Arrival at the airport or railway station Mineralnye Vody:
15:00 meeting and gathering of the group at Mineralnye Vody airport;
15:30 meeting and gathering of the group at the Mineralnye Vody railway station.
Group transfer to the Elbrus region (185 km, 3 hours) to the ski resorts of Elbrus and Cheget, check-in at the hotel.
Elbrus is the highest peak in Europe, mesmerizing with its grandeur.
The incredible beauty of the mountains and the traditional Caucasian hospitality will inspire a great vacation with many vivid impressions, and the variety of trails will delight both beginners and professionals.
We will have dinner at the hotel or at any of the numerous cafes and restaurants (extra charge) located along the Cheget — Elbrus trail.
We get to know each other and get instructed on the rules of safety and behavior at the Elbrus resort.

Day 2 - Ski slopes of Elbrus
08:30 After breakfast we go to the ski slopes of Elbrus.
There is a whole day of skiing ahead with unlimited possibilities for outdoor activities.
The total length of the ski slopes is about 12 km, while most of them are red and blue, ideal for an average level of skiing.
The trails on Elbrus are wide and gentle, without a sharp drop in altitude, which will also be comfortable for beginners.
There is a small training slope with a belt lift in the lower part of the resort.
The instructors will help you pick up the equipment, get ski passes and start rolling out the tracks depending on the level of training.
Cable cars smoothly lift us from the village of Azau (2,350 m) to the stations Krugozor (3,000 m), Mir (3,500 m) and Garabashi (3,847 m).
We enjoy skiing, stunning views and active recreation on the ski slopes of the highest mountain in Europe.
We have lunch in a cafe on the slope (extra charge), exchange impressions and at the same time immerse ourselves in the local gastronomy.
They bake the most delicious khichins with cheese, meat and potatoes on Elbrus, and you should definitely try lagman, shorpa and chanakhi from local dishes.
We continue to explore the trails, energizing ourselves with the energy of the mountains, and just enjoy riding.
16:30 Gathering of the group, return to the hotel.
Free time to recover and relax.
There are many evening leisure options: restaurants of national cuisine, spa treatments, karaoke, horseback riding, ice skating or shopping at the colorful local markets.

Day 3 - Ski slopes of Elbrus
08:30 After breakfast we go to the slopes and continue to roll out the ski slopes of Elbrus.
On skis and snowboards, we are impressed by every moment of active recreation, immersed in the beauty of the mountain element.
Experienced riders can try their hand at Cheget today, where the most difficult tracks in Russia are.
The atmosphere of the past years has been preserved on Cheget.
It is here that the iconic Ai cafe has been located since the sixties of the last century at an altitude of 2,750 meters and offers the best view of Elbrus in clear weather.
For those who are not interested in Cheget, we continue to roll out the ski slopes of Elbrus.
Lunch on the slope with hot tea will give you energy to continue an exciting day.
16:30 Gathering of the group, return to the hotel.
Free time to recover and relax.
For those who wish, it is possible to additionally organize a sauna.
Day 4 - Ski slopes of Elbrus
Today, the participants of the group part of the program are traveling on other routes.
And for those who have decided to spend more time on Elbrus, the program of this tour continues in an individual format.
Only the sky is higher — continue riding on the comfortable slopes of Elbrus.
An incomparable sense of freedom surrounded by superb mountain scenery.
On skis and snowboards, enjoy every moment of outdoor activities, immersed in the beauty of the mountain elements.

The Snow Leopard Hotel is located in the Cheget Glade in the village of Terskol, Elbrus region. It offers free Wi-Fi.

If you want to eat, there is a restaurant on site for you, where highly qualified chefs will prepare the most delicious dishes.

The Balkaria Hotel is located at the very base of the Elbrus Mountains, a stone's throw from the ski lift, next to Azu Glade, Devichye Kosy Waterfall and a couple of minutes by car from Donguz Orun-Kel Lake.

It offers 21 cozy rooms, each with a double bed, a TV, and underfloor heating in the bathroom. There is also an inventory storage room, a cinema, and many viewing platforms on site.

There is also a restaurant, which serves a hearty breakfast in the morning and a delicious dinner in the evening.

The distance to the airport is 97.1 km, to the railway station — 73.3 km.
