Tickets go on sale 90 days before the date of the trip. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the long-distance ticket offices or on the Russian Railways website to the Mtsensk station.

Inspection of the Holy Spirit Monastery.
It is one of the oldest Orthodox monasteries in Russia and is located on the so-called "Lithuanian Gentry", along which hordes of invaders and robbers came from the West to Russia. This has led to its important strategic importance in the past.
The Holy Spirit Monastery was first documented in 1619, but according to legend, it was founded in the 12th century by Hieromonk Abraham, a disciple of the Holy Martyr Kuksha. The monastery looks spectacular from the surface of the river, reflected in the waters of the Zusha.
We will spend several hours on the water, looking at the limestone outcrops and picturesque slopes along the shores, swimming on rocky beaches.

Day 2 - Walking tour of the Novosil settlement, a master class at the Museum of local lore

We set off (10 km).
Our journey will begin at the rampart of the ancient settlement of Novosil, along the way we will meet stone bridges built by craftsmen back in the 15th and 16th centuries.
Then you will continue along the Tsarskaya Road to the main destination of the trip — the "Black Forest" in the village of Chernyshino, where locals have been using "white" clay to create toys for several hundred years. This is a real natural masterpiece for the Central Chernozem region. One of the main objectives of our trip is to get clay for the Novosibirsk Museum of Local Lore.
On the way, we will stop near the photo zone: the art object "Nyanka" with a beautiful view of ancient Novosil.

Master class on the traditional clay toy "Feeder".
The museum staff will take you back in time, revealing the meaning of the shape of toys and their paintings. The plots of the toys are original: a feeder, a virgo bird, a cuckoo.
The image of the cuckoo is closely connected with the customs and beliefs of the ancestors. The cuckoo is a "bird of God", foreshadowing the length of life, as well as the fate of not only humans, but also natural phenomena. She was a bird-like image of a female deity endowed with the secret power of prophecy. A breadwinner is an image of a mother-nurse. It is given to prolong life, protect people and families from disasters.
You can take the finished toy with you as a souvenir.

Day 3 - Continuation of rafting on the Zusha

The beginning of the rafting. We set off (17 km).
Your water adventure on the third day will begin in the village of Vorotyntsevo, which stands on the steep banks of the Zusha River, and was first mentioned in the Ipatiev Chronicle in 1155. For centuries, there was a mill on the river, not far from the settlement. And in the middle of the 20th century, a real hydroelectric power station appeared in its place.
In the post-war years, there was a severe shortage of electricity in small villages of the Orel region. Therefore, in the 50s of the 20th century, three projects for the construction of small power plants began to be implemented on the Zusha River at once: near the village of Vorotyntsev, the village of Lykovo and the town of Novosil. They worked for about 30 years, supplying nearby collective farms with electricity, until power lines were extended throughout the region.

This route is full of interesting places, and is great for youth and family holidays.
Kayaks will glide leisurely past steep scenic slopes and limestone outcrops.
The rocky ridges and backwaters of the Zusha are perfect for fishing for pike, asp and chub. You can also count on a good catch of roach, carp and bream.
You will enjoy the singing of birds, be sure to meet gray herons flying up from the branches, and you will look at schools of fish in the clear waters of the river. There are beavers in Zusha, their paths and huts are clearly visible from the water, maybe you will be lucky to see the animals themselves.

In the evening, there is a great opportunity to steam in the hiking sauna, which will appear near the water. A rafting trip is the best way to end the day.
Day 4 - Sapboard rafting on the Neruch River, master class at the Museum of local Lore

This is a river with character, and exploring it on a sapboard is pure pleasure!
She does not let you get bored, constantly changing your mood: calm deep pools suddenly give way to frisky rocky ripples and shallow waters. This is a great chance to hone your paddle technique!
There are no wide spaces here, but there is the magic of "closeness". The riverbed (only 5 to 20 meters) turns into a real green corridor. You will slide on carpets of yellow water lilies, and under your boot, in crystal clear water, there will be schools of curious fish.
Neruch is constantly winding, revealing a new view at every turn: steep picturesque slopes, ancient limestone outcrops, reminiscent of fantasy scenery.

Under the guidance of experienced craftsmen, you will begin to create your own personal doll "Plantain". It's not just a souvenir — it's a powerful amulet with a deep meaning.

Day 5 - Excursion to the museum-estate "Spasskoe-Lutovinovo", a master class on making compositions with candles

12:00 Visit to the museum-estate "Spasskoe Lutovinovo" — the family estate of the great Russian writer Ivan Turgenev.
Guided tour of the house and park. Interactive program "Traditions of manor hospitality".
The tour will allow you to learn more about the ancient Lutovinov family, the life and everyday life of Ivan Sergeevich, and to "touch" the things that surrounded the whole family.
We will see the Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior, built in 1809 at the expense of the writer's grandfather, Ivan Lutovinov. Ivan Sergeyevich's parents were married in this church on January 15, 1816.
The manor's appearance is complemented by buildings restored in the farmyard: a stable, a carriage house, a harness room, a bathhouse and a cellar. There is a magnificent park around the 83-hectare manor house, with dense lime alleys leading down to the pond.
Since the foundation of the park, about 2,000 century-old and bicentennial linden trees, ash trees, maples, firs, oaks, elms, birches, and silver poplars have been preserved.
The park in Spassky-Lutovinovo has preserved the characteristic features of ancient noble manors and is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful manor parks in Russia. Walking along the alleys of the ancient park, you feel the breath of the century before last.

Glamping "Alloy of Elements" is located in the city of Novosil, Orel region.

Guests are offered accommodation in cozy tents equipped with sleeping places and a toilet room with a water heater. The tent overlooks the river. There is a cafe with three meals a day on the territory of the glamping. There is a refrigerator for storing food.

The Prisma tent, without room amenities, on a slope (2-bed accommodation) – located by the Zusha River and is a frame-tent structure mounted on a wooden podium and has an outdoor terrace. The entrance to each tent is individual. The tent has orthopedic mattresses on the beds, a set of towels, electric sheets with heating, sockets for charging equipment, hangers for clothes. A sanitary unit with showers and toilets is located on the campsite. There is a cafe with 24-hour access, where you can use a kettle with hot water and a refrigerator.

Camping is a large well–maintained area for a tent city with a capacity of up to 100 tents. The campsite is equipped with a sanitary unit with showers and toilets.
