Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Meeting in Perm. A walk on the stone of the Royal Gate and the rocks of the Perforated ribs. Celebrating the New Year

    10:00 Gathering at the Soldatov Recreation center.

    Departure. A brief briefing on the way.

    14:00 Cooking, lunch.

    15:00 Walk to the Tsar's Gate stone and the Holey Ribs rocks.

Personal equipment you need for the tour

Equipment:

  1. Backpack /sports bag 40-70 liters for transporting things.
  2. A backpack of 20-40 liters for hiking to the peaks.
  3. Hoba (provided).
  4. A flashlight (preferably a headlamp).

Clothing and shoes:

  1. Winter trekking boots (or EVA boots, insulated).
  2. Shoe covers or gaiters. They protect against snow getting into the shoe.
  3. The jacket is warm (possibly ski).
  4. The pants are warm (maybe a jumpsuit).
  5. The hat is warm, a warm buff.
  6. The jacket is insulated (fleece).
  7. Mittens/gloves are insulated.
  8. A set of thermal underwear.
  9. Socks are warm and trekking 2 pairs.
  10. Clothes, slippers for home and sleep.
  11. Bathing linen for the bath.

What else to take:

  1. A camera (video camera).
  2. Personal tableware (plate, mug, spoon, knife).
