Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Perm - Belogorsky monastery - Kungur

    Meeting place and time of the group: at 08:00 at the central entrance of the Soldatov Recreation Center (79 Kuibyshev Street, Perm).

    Our journey through the Permian land begins with a visit to the Belogorsky St. Nicholas Monastery. 

    The monastery is located on a mountain, offering a fascinating view of the Ural taiga.

    After that we will go to the ancient merchant town of Kungur.

    The Kungur Ice Cave is one of the largest karst caves in the European part of Russia, we will walk through its tunnels and grottoes, appreciate the transparency of the cave lake, we will be introduced to the underground world and its unique microclimate.

    Also today we are waiting for a master class on making a printed gingerbread in the house of the Vyazov family.

    The workshop is saturated with the subtle aromas of painted gingerbread and the wisdom of national traditions. You will be able to choose the shape you like and create your own gingerbread - this is an exciting and creative process.

    Later we will check into the hotel, where we will have dinner and an evening of dating.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour

In winter, it can be from -10 to -30 in the north of the Perm Region, so it is important to take warm clothes with you.

Equipment:

  • a small 15-20 l backpack for walking;
  • hoba (elastic band seat);
  • chemical hand and foot warmers.

Clothing and shoes:

  • boots for outdoor activities are insulated, and fishing warm lightweight EVA boots have also proven themselves well in the cold;
  • windproof jacket (possibly ski jacket);
  • windproof, insulated trousers (possibly overalls);
  • insulated jacket (down jacket);
  • insulated hat, warm buff;
  • a set of thermal underwear;
  • insulated jacket (fleece);
  • synthetic socks (2-3 pairs);
  • woolen and cotton socks (1 pair each);
  • balaclava (possibly a windproof mask);
  • insulated mittens, windproof + fleece gloves.

What else to take:

  • first-aid kit is personal, in case of chronic diseases (the guide will have a public first-aid kit with a standard set of medicines);
  • personal hygiene products (toothpaste, brush, soap, lipstick, toilet paper, accessories for girls, etc.);
  • thermos flask (0.5-1 liter);
  • ski mask (very helpful in strong winds with snow and when riding a snowmobile);
  • a flashlight (preferably a headlamp) + a set of batteries.
