Bus tour from Perm to the Kvarkush plateau for 4 days.

The Kvarkush plateau, extending over 50 km in length and reaching 15 kilometers in width, is a rarity for the relief of the Ural Mountains. On the immense peak there are deer and the polar tundra of the Northern Urals!

During the hike to the Kvarkush plateau, we will see the cascades of Zhigalan waterfalls, and reach the Three Brothers rock, and climb the Vogulsky Stone mountain.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Overnight transfer from Perm
16:00 Departure of the bus from Perm (at Topolevy lane, 10 or at the request of the group).
The road to the foot of the Kvarkush ridge is 650 km (15-17 hours).
Day 2 - Waterfalls of the Zhigalan River
Be mentally prepared for the fact that in the morning we are waiting for the last 100 km on a very bad dirt road.
Therefore, it is better to sleep at night while driving on asphalt.
Arrival on the banks of the Uls River.
Crossing to the other side of the river via a ford (possible in case of low water level in the river and transport possibilities).
Then follow to the Zhigalan River (7km) by bus or on foot.
Breakfast.
The arrangement of the camp.
The exit to the route is light.
We only take assault backpacks with us.
Climbing along the trail along the Zhigalan River.
Inspection of waterfalls.
Lunch is a snack.
Return to the base camp.
Supper.
Rest.

Day 3 - The Kvarkush Plateau
Lift.
Early breakfast.
Climbing light on the Kvarkush plateau.
A flat plain of mountain tundra opens on the plateau, in the north and south its end is lost beyond the horizon, and in the east the peaks of the Main Ural Ridge turn gray.
Three Brothers rocks are visible on the right.
The path to the north in the direction of the highest point of the plateau – Mount Vogulsky Kamen 1066 m is clearly visible.
At the foot of the stone there are two huts of Bakhtiyarovs, reindeer herders-Mansi.
Climbing the Vogul stone, photos with deer, if they are not driven to the other side of the plateau.
Lunch is a snack.
Return to the base camp.
Supper.
Hiking bath (subject to bus travel to the base camp).
Overnight in tents.

Day 4 - Departure
08:00 Rise.
Early breakfast.
Camp gathering.
Return to the bus.
Departure by bus to Perm.
On the way, lunch at a roadside cafe (extra charge).
The bus arrives in Perm on Monday night.

Pay attention to collecting personal equipment according to the recommended list.

Treat natural resources and historical monuments with care and respect, preserve and protect them whenever possible.

Do not throw garbage into the forest and do not leave it in the clearing.

Be sure to dispose of it or take it with you.

The instructor will provide garbage bags.

It is forbidden to leave campfires, garbage, cans, glass, wire, and a contaminated water source when assembling the camp.

From the first minute of the trip, you become a full member of the group and must coordinate your actions with the instructor.

Respect the people around you and yourself.

During the route, it is allowed to move only as part of a group, keeping up and not moving away.

We do not recommend drinking alcohol during the hike and on the bus.

In addition, alcohol dulls the pleasure of traveling, and you can drink at home.

During evening campsites and campfire gatherings, alcohol consumption is not prohibited, but excessive alcohol consumption in the evening can seriously affect your condition in the morning!

We also recommend that you pour alcoholic beverages from glass into plastic in advance, if you still decide to take them.

It will be easier to dispose of in the future.

Do not leave the camp without warning the instructors.

If you feel unwell, have an injury or other problem, inform the instructor about it.

Take care of your inventory and equipment.

You are no less responsible for it than the instructor.

LISTEN CAREFULLY to ALL the instructor's instructions before any event, follow the rule of 3 points of support when moving along an inclined terrain (hiking up a mountain, an excursion to a rock, a cave, an abnormal zone).

Dress warmly, but at the same time try not to sweat, so as not to freeze in the future.

Keep an eye on the condition of the shoes, they must be dry.
