09:00 Departure of the bus from St. Petersburg from Moskovskaya metro station, Demonstration passage.
Departure to Pechory. The name of the city comes from the old Russian word "pechera" (cave). The city grew up around its main attraction, the Pskov Caves Holy Dormition Monastery.
The monastery itself stands at the bottom of a ravine cut by the Kamenets River, and the fortress walls run along its edges.
Pskov-Pechersk Assumption Monastery tour. It's amazing, but for more than five centuries, the Pskov Caves Monastery has not been closed for a single day.
There are seven temples on the territory of the monastery, including the Assumption Church, which in 1473 was a simple cave in the slope of a ravine.
Behind the Assumption Church there is an entrance to an underground necropolis with thousands of bodies of dead monks, archers, militiamen and ordinary residents. Among them are the ancestors of A.V. Suvorov, M.I. Kutuzov and A.S. Pushkin.
Transfer to the "Bread farm" in the village of Sorokino. It's quite easy to get here – by smell, the aromas of sweet dough, spices and tea are concentrated in increased doses here.
A real fairy tale will open hospitably in front of you – after all, real printed gingerbread cookies are baked here using special technologies and ancient recipes.
You will learn some of the secrets of making gingerbread, as well as hear about special "wedding" gingerbread, and see printed boards. Everyone will be able to purchase homemade bread, gingerbread, jam, including pine cones (for an additional fee).
Guided tour and tasting of printed gingerbread under fragrant Pechora tea.
