Kremlin tour. The Pskov Kremlin (Krom) is the main attraction and business card of the ancient city, and the Trinity Cathedral is its sacred symbol. The cathedral has always been considered a shrine and the center of public life in Pskov.

The main treasures and relics of the city were kept here: ancient charters, princely seals and the state treasury. To the north of the cathedral, grain stores, weapons, gunpowder, and armor were stored in barns and cellars.

Bus and walking tour of Pskov. The place of prayer of Princess Olga (the left bank of the Velikaya River), panoramas of the old town, embankments.

Sights of the Middle City: city parks, St. Basil's Cathedral on the Hill, theater, stone merchant chambers, ceremonial city squares, monument to Princess Olga, etc.

18:30 For those who wish, visit the Greek cheese factory "Trempelis" with a tasting of 10 types of cheese, a glass of wine and live Greek music (for an additional fee, duration about 1.5 hours).

Greece is the birthplace of cheese, and its own cheese–making traditions distinguish the Greeks from all others by their loyalty to ancient recipes. The Trempelis cheese factory is the first production in Russia opened by a hereditary Greek cheese maker.

During the tour, you will learn about the history of the Greek enterprise on Pskov land and the peculiarities of making varieties of Greek cheese.

You will also visit a farm with about 50 Anglo-Nubian goats, whose milk is used for cheese production, as well as horses and seals.

The program will end with a tasting of 10 types of cheese with a glass of Greek wine accompanied by live music on a Greek bouzouki. After the tour, you will have the opportunity to purchase your favorite types of cheese.

Transfer to Old Izborsk. Izborsk, a small village with a population of about 800 people, lies 30 km west of Pskov. Once upon a time, Izborsk was one of the oldest cities in Russia, and at all times this fortress city stood in the way of foreign invaders to protect the Pskov lands.

An inspection of one of the monuments of Russian fortification art – the Izborsk fortress. Here you can plunge into the mysterious and harsh atmosphere of the Middle Ages, touch the walls of the Izborsk fortress that bear traces of fierce battles and time, and listen to the age-old silence of the ancient settlement.

An excursion to the Honey Farm is one of the most beloved and visited private museums in the Pskov region. Immersion in beekeeping and peasant-lordly life of a Russian farm of the XIX–XX century.

On the edge of the Russian land, feel like a nobleman and a peasant, understand linen, blacksmithing, carpentry, seasonal rural side jobs. Perhaps the only museum where you can feel absolutely all the exhibits.

On the territory you will see an original museum exposition of peasant life of the 19th and 21st centuries: tools, household items, handicraft looms, honey pots, a boat, collections of plows, lanterns, spinning wheels, axes and hammers, locks, irons, samovars and many others.

The apiary complex is represented by various tools, ancient homemade beehives from duplicates and decks to rarities of various designs: Dadan-Blatt, Roger Delon, and Glazov biostator hive.

You will experience the romance of the honey craft, look at the bees and how the guide is stung by a bee.

Tasting program-treats: dried tea, fragrant cheese, homemade wine and incredible mead according to ancient recipes (for adults).

Return to Pskov.
