Excursion to the Museum-estate of N.A. Nekrasova "Chudovskaya Luka". Nikolai Alekseevich Nekrasov acquired the Chudovskaya Luka estate in 1871 from the Vladimirovs landowners, which was located on the bend of the Kerest River one mile from the Chudovo station, hence the name Chudovskaya Luka.

Nekrasov spent the summer of 1874 at his dacha in the Novgorod province. In two months, N. A. Nekrasov wrote 11 poems, which made up the so-called "Chudovsky cycle" and were included in the golden fund of his poetry.

It was here that the poet created many lyrical works and poems "Contemporaries", and also completed work on the poem "Who lives well in Russia".
