Weekend tour from St. Petersburg. Pskov – Izborsk – Pechory – Pushkin Mountains

In three days, you will walk through living history: from the harsh loopholes of the Izborsk Fortress and the 542-year-old caves of the Pskov Caves Monastery to the place where Pushkin became a genius. You will plunge into the keys of the ancient settlement, hear the age—old silence and see the Trinity Cathedral before heading to Mikhailovskoye, the poet's true homeland.

A journey through time awaits you: Tatiana's Alley, Onegin's bench, tasting of ancient sbitnya and intoxicating mead at the Bee Manor apiary. And then there was Pushkin's grave in the Svyatogorsk Monastery and a completely unexpected finale: the Sergei Dovlatov House Museum, where the atmosphere of the 1970s was preserved in every crack of the logs.
