Day 1 - Arrival. Walking tour "Wooden lace of Tyumen"

13:00-13:30 Walking tour "Wooden lace of Tyumen".
You will walk along a pedestrian street in the historical center of Tyumen – the former Sadovaya Street, where ancient merchant houses are located, decorated with wonderful Siberian carvings, which not only decorated the house, but also told about its owner.
The guide will teach you how to read the amazing beauty of the patterns carved by the hand of an ancient master.

13:30-16:30 Sightseeing tour "You are good in all your outfits, Mother!".
Now you will continue your journey through Tyumen on a comfortable bus, from the window of which you will look at the beautiful Tyumen, shimmering with New Year's toys on Christmas trees and sparkling with garlands of lights.
Ice figures, snow-covered, as in a fairy-tale forest, trees, behind which historical houses and modern buildings are hidden.
You will see the Umka bear and sculptures of famous clowns on Tsvetnoy Boulevard; the City Duma building, where the Tyumen Head once sat, and now there is the most complete and largest mammoth skeleton and a stone at the site of the foundation of Tyumen on the Historical Square; golden figures of Siberian cats dusted with crystal snowflakes on the alley of the same name, the famous Tyumen Embankment, the Bridge of Lovers Holy Trinity Monastery, where the relics of the enlightener of Siberia Philotheus Leshchinsky are kept, the Tree of Happiness and the map of the "Tyumen Matryoshka", the second Mausoleum ... and many New Year trees on the streets and squares of Tyumen, and of course the main beauty of our city, decorated, as usual, royally!
16:30-17:00 At the end of our New Year's trip to the first Russian city in Siberia, we will walk along Podaruyevskaya Street (now Semakova), on which the Cathedral of the Sign stands majestically – the main Orthodox church of Tyumen, snow–white walls, azure domes and gilded decoration of which remind of the palaces of Peterhof.
And behind its stone walls there is an altar of amazing beauty with wooden carvings.
Independent return to the hotel (15 min walk).

Every nation has its own Santa Claus: in the USA – Santa Claus, in France – Pierre Noel, in Georgia – Tovlis Babua, in Uzbekistan – Korbobo, Zyuzya – in Belarus.
And the harsh Tyumen oilmen have a snowy, frosty Santa Claus, but not a simple one, but an oil one!
Today we will go in search of him!
Let's take the route of the discoverers of Tyumen oil, learn all about its occurrence and production, how they tried to find oil in Tyumen, but found mineral water. But the memorial sign of the first reference well is located in Tyumen.
And, despite the fact that the first Siberian oil fountain was scored in the Khanty–Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, and not in Tyumen, it has been Tyumen since the middle of the last century that rightfully bears the proud title of the oil capital of Russia, and recently Russians have also called it the capital of thermal waters!
At the end of the oil journey, having learned everything about oil, we will take an oath and be initiated into the oil industry and, of course, together with Santa Claus, an oilman, we will have dinner "fish soup with oil" in an oil restaurant!

Day 3 - Guided tour of the Abalaki Holy Sign Monastery. Tobolsk
Breakfast at the hotel.

07:30-11:20 Transfer to Abalak village (249 km).
11:20-12:20 Excursion to the Abalak Holy Sign Monastery, which is located in the village of Abalak on the right bank of the Irtysh, 20 km from Tobolsk.
The monastery is a unique historical and architectural complex, formed by the middle of the XVIII century in the Baroque style.
12:20-13:00 Transfer to Tobolsk.
Over the years, people known not only in Russia but also around the world were born or lived and worked here: A.Alyabyev, S. Remizov, P.Ershov, D. Mendeleev.
The Decembrists and even the Uglich Bell were in exile... the family of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II did not escape this either.
13:00-14:00 Sightseeing tour of Tobolsk.
Festively decorated Market Square, Yershov Square with the famous characters of his fairy tale "The Hunchback Horse", Ermak's Garden with a majestic Stele to the conqueror of Siberia, the Alley of the Decembrist Wives, the Catholic Church with its famous organ.
And, of course, the Kremlin! The majestic white stone Kremlin with the bells of St. Sophia Cathedral, the Greenhouse and the Living Room Courtyard.
14:00-15:00 Excursion to the Palace of the governor, connected with the history of the 300-year rule of Siberia, starting with the victories of Ataman Ermak's detachment and the establishment of voivodeship, before the revolutionary events of 1917.
It was from here that Governor Gagarin, who was executed by Peter the Great for extortion, ruled the largest part of Russia.
15:00-16:00 Lunch at the cafe "Povarnya", which is located in the Gostiny Dvor building, erected by decree of the Great Emperor in 1703-1708, designed by S.U. Remezov.
16:00-17:00 Sightseeing tour of the Kremlin, which has become a special symbol of state power in Russia, the spiritual and administrative center of a vast and distant region, it is rightfully called the "Pearl of Siberia".
All the royal guests began their acquaintance with Tobolsk with a walk through the territory of the Kremlin.
17:00-21:00 Transfer to Tyumen.

Yalutorovsky ostrog is a reconstruction of the fortress, from which this city began in 1659.
And for several years now, on New Year's holidays, the prison seems to go back many centuries and immerse itself in a fairy tale.

We're going to travel through time. We will be invited by the Decembrist family, who will tell us about how they celebrated Christmas holidays in Yalutorovsk, played music, played forfeits and followed the traditions and habits inherent in them before their exile in Siberia. Then we will fast forward to the recent past and celebrate the New Year with our grandparents.

A small town of big people, the city of the Decembrists, the pancake capital of Russia – this is the name of this small Siberian provincial town, whose inhabitants love everything big.
It is in Yalutorovsk (it is also the birthplace of Soviet condensed milk) that the largest Gulliver candy is produced.
At Easter, they fry huge fried eggs, and on Shrovetide they bake a 3–meter pancake!
The philanthropist Savva Mamontov was born here, by order of whom the Metropol Hotel was built, and from 1829 to 1856 9 Decembrists were exiled here, who left an indelible cultural mark on the development of this town.
During the tour, you will visit the Alley of the Decembrists, see the majestic cathedral on Sretenskaya Square, find out how this town was built, which today attracts the eyes of tourists more and more.
It is possible to visit a local produce store.

Here you can buy fish and meat delicacies : muksun fish, cheese, nelma ... , taiga game meat and sweets from the Tyumen factory "Quartet".
