Our Thermal New Year in Tyumen

15:00 Meeting with a representative of a travel agency in the lobby of the hotel.

15:15-19:00 Drive to the thermal mineral spring. Almost the whole of Russia knows about Tyumen mineral water, which heals, soothes, relaxes. The Tyumen thermal season, which opens in November, attracts a huge number of tourists to the local mineral waters.

But few of them know that the Tyumen springs are part of an underground thermal sea, packed under the Tyumen region many millions of years ago.

How unusual it is to plunge into hot water in twenty, or even thirty degrees below zero (+38-+40 ) water, feel its warming touch, as frost covers your hair, enjoy the fresh forest air and admire the snow-white snowflakes falling on your head.

Attention: To visit the spring, you must have a towel, slates, and a bathing suit with you. A bathrobe is optional.

13:30-16:30 Sightseeing tour "You look good in all your outfits, Mother!". Now you will continue your journey through Tyumen on a comfortable bus, from the window of which you will look at the beautiful Tyumen, shimmering with Christmas toys on Christmas trees and sparkling with garlands of lights.

Ice figures, snow-covered, as in a fairy-tale forest, trees, behind which historical houses and modern buildings are hidden. You will see Umka the bear and sculptures of famous clowns on Tsvetnoy Boulevard.

The building of the City Duma, where the Tyumen Mayor once sat, and now houses the most complete and largest mammoth skeleton and a stone on the site of the foundation of Tyumen on the Historical Square.

Golden figures of Siberian cats dusted with crystal snowflakes on the alley of the same name, the famous Tyumen Embankment, the Bridge of Lovers, the Holy Trinity Monastery, where the relics of the enlightener of Siberia Philotheus Leshchinsky are kept.

The tree of happiness and the map of the Tyumen Matryoshka Doll, the second Mausoleum ... and a lot of New Year trees on the streets and squares of Tyumen and, of course, the main beauty of our city, decorated, as usual, royally!

16:30-17:00 At the end of our New Year's trip to the first Russian city in Siberia, we will take a walk along Podaruyevskaya Street (now Semakova Street), on which the Cathedral of the Sign, the main Orthodox church in Tyumen, stands majestically.

The snow-white walls, azure domes and gilded decoration are reminiscent of the palaces of Peterhof. And behind its stone walls there is an altar of amazing beauty with wooden carvings.

Opposite the cathedral, you will see an incredibly beautiful wooden mansion – the House of Happiness, as the residents and guests of our city call it today.

It once belonged to the Chiralov family of merchants, who are waiting for us today for a festive Siberian dinner. Well, let's rub the trim for luck, and let's go on a visit.

17:00-18:00 Siberian dinner from merchants Chiralov, where you will taste:

• festive (cold) merchant snacks made from raw grated root vegetables mixed with seasoning and laid out in a tartlet;
• from pike roe – found in the waters of local rivers, laid out in custard dough after salting;
• Siberian dumplings prepared according to ancient recipes ... and a lot of other delicious things, with Siberian liqueurs in the cellars by the owner himself on St. John's wort and marsh cranberries infused.
