Day 1 - Ekaterinburg. The border of Europe and Asia. Boris Yeltsin Museum
Arrival at Yekaterinburg airport (Koltsovo).
Meeting at the airport at 05:30.
Transfer to Yekaterinburg.

Sightseeing tour of Yekaterinburg.
Today Yekaterinburg is the industrial center of Russia, the cultural and scientific center of the Urals.
Visiting the Border of Europe and Asia.
The Europe-Asia symbol was installed at the point of intersection of the European-Asian border.
Two stones are laid at the obelisk, which symbolize the unity of the two parts of the world.
One stone was brought from the most extreme point of Europe – Cape Rock, and the second stone from the very edge of the Asian part of the continent – Cape Dezhnev.
Excursion to the Boris Yeltsin Museum.
This is the first presidential museum in Russia.
He tells about the life of the first president of Russia and the most important stages of his political biography.
The museum occupies 2 floors and has an unusual building in the form of a circle, which is divided into several rooms.
The museum's exposition contains documents, photos and archival footage, as well as modern interactive technologies.

Day 2 - Nevyansk. Nizhny Tagil

A visit to the Demidovs' Inclined Tower.
Nevyanskaya Tower is one of the few architectural structures that was built with a deviation from the vertical at the top of 2.2 meters.
Transfer to Nizhny Tagil.

Almost 200 years ago Nizhny Tagil was the main producer of cast iron in all of Europe, and in Soviet times the city became a major industrial center.
Today, the city combines the power of industrial giants, modern buildings, historical monuments and the beauty of the Ural nature.

Excursion to the Historical and Technical museum "House of Cherepanovs".
The main part of the exhibition tells about the fate of the Cherepanov family, as well as about the inventor of the bicycle, Tagil resident Efim Artamonov.
Excursion to the Museum of the history of tray craft "House of Khudoyarov".
Nizhny Tagil is the birthplace of the Russian painted iron tray.
The art of Ural lacquer painting originated in the first half of the XVIII century.
The museum is located in a building that belonged to the Khudoyarov dynasty of artists.

Day 3 - The temple on blood. The history of the royal family

A visit to the Temple-on-Blood.
The “Church-on-Blood in the name of All Saints who Shone Forth in the Russian land” is one of the main attractions of Yekaterinburg.
It was here that the house of engineer Nikolai Nikolaevich Ipatiev stood, in which the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II with his family and servants were shot.
The temple was consecrated on the eve of the next anniversary of the tragic events – July 16, 2003.
The architectural complex includes the five-domed main temple, the Elizabeth Chapel and the Patriarchal Compound.
Excursion to the Cultural and educational center “Tsarsky” (Museum of the Holy Royal family).
The museum's exposition contains items related to the august family of Emperor Nicholas II.
During the tour you will visit the permanent exhibition Hall, the Patriarchal Hall, the royal piano and the church in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.

Ganina Pit is an abandoned iron mine, which got its name from the owner, nicknamed Ganya.
The deposit turned out to be poor and by the beginning of the 20th century the mine was abandoned. It was here in July 1918 that the bodies of members of the Royal Family and their faithful servants were brought from the Ipatievsky House of Yekaterinburg.
Today, a monastery in honor of the Holy Royal Passion-Bearers has been erected on the site of the Ganina Yama mine.

Day 4 - Faberge collection. Interactive Museum-mine

The museum is located in the building of the former "Pharmacy of the mining department".
Here you can get acquainted with the history of artistic stone processing of the XIX – early XX centuries, with the works of the Russian Gems factory, with malachite products, modern author's stone-cutting and jewelry art.
A special place in the museum's collection is occupied by jewelry of the famous Faberge company, which are located in the Golden Pantry exhibition.
The program of the museum visit includes a sightseeing tour of the museum, an excursion to the “Golden Pantry”, an excursion to the “Emerald Room”.
Transfer to Berezovsky.
Excursion to the Mine Museum.
The museum has two exhibition halls — ground and underground.
The expositions are devoted to the history of gold mining in the city of Berezovsky.

A wonderful tour with a rich and engaging itinerary. Our guide, Svetlana, was very responsible and did an excellent job, explaining everything in detail. I was pleased with both the hotels and the food. Adding extra lunches was a great decision; it made everything more convenient, and I especially enjoyed the Pomor-style lunch at the Pomor restaurant. The transportation was also comfortable and reliable.
