The temple of all religions.

It is not often that you can see holy places dedicated to many religions. Kazan boasts such a unique temple.

It's just impossible to drive past it. Yellow, blue, and green domes of various shapes and colorful mosaics immediately attract attention.

The temple of all religions was created as a museum and, according to the creator's idea, unites Orthodoxy, Islam, Catholicism, Judaism and a number of other religions.

Innopolis.

This is an ultra-modern city of the future, which appeared on the maps only in 2014. Its slogan is "The City of your ideas!"

The population of Innopolis consists almost entirely of IT specialists. The main building here is the university, where students study and create robots.

It is here that the future comes much earlier than in other cities of Russia.

Rovers walk the streets of Innopolis – these are delivery robots that carry food from stores or parcels from the post office. Innopolis has also become the first city in Russia where residents can use self-driving taxis to travel.

Island-city of Sviyazhsk.

Sviyazhsk is a fortress located on an island, a kind of island of Brawler from Pushkin's fairy tale.

According to legend, Ivan the Terrible liked this island very much when he returned to Moscow in 1551 after an unsuccessful assault on Kazan. And then he conceived that he wanted to build a fortress here. 

But how can this be done if there are enemies around? And an interesting solution appeared: to build a fortress nearby, near Uglich, and then disassemble it, float it along the Volga and assemble it in Sviyazhsk. Said and done!

Nowadays, tourists come to Sviyazhsk Island every day to enjoy panoramic views of the Volga River, stroll through the ancient streets of the fortress and drink mead.

The city of Bolgar is located on the banks of the Volga River. 

Its unique architectural objects will tell us about the vanished states of Volga Bulgaria and the Golden Horde.

The Cathedral Mosque, the White and Black Chambers, the Northern Mausoleum – some sites of the settlement have survived to this day, some are partially destroyed. 

There is also a memorial sign here — a huge octagonal building with a round copper dome and a Muslim crescent moon on top. 

The largest printed Quran in the world is installed on a special pedestal in its main hall. It is made of platinum, gold leaf and encrusted with precious stones. The weight of the Quran is 800 kilograms.

The White Mosque.

It is impossible to describe in words the feeling when a White Mosque suddenly grows up in front of you among the Russian forests and fields. Luxury and splendor, snow–white radiance and brilliance - from the very first seconds, this mosque makes tourists admire its beauty.

The White Mosque is also called the Russian Taj Mahal. It is built of cream-colored Italian marble. 

During the day, marble reflects sunlight and shines white, and in the rays of the departing May sun, the walls are painted in sunset tones and seem to emit warm light.

Library of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Everything in Kazan is ultramodern, including the library. There are more than 2 million books stored here, dozens of reading rooms with panoramic windows and exhibition areas.

At the entrance to the library, an installation of 287 letters from the Tatar alphabet immediately attracts attention. The letters move, rotate, and take on different shapes. 

And now a tourist can endlessly look at 4 things: fire, water, someone else's work and how the letters of this installation move, forming the word "knowledge".

Blue lakes.

Let's touch the nature of Kazan. We are going outside the city to see the blue lakes in May.

These reservoirs impress with their stunning color: under the sun's rays, it changes from emerald to blue. Lakes are fed only by groundwater and do not freeze even in winter.

During the tour we will see:

• azure pond;
• a small waterfall;
• Small Blue Lake. The most favorite reservoir of tourists;
• Big Blue Lake. In some places, the depth reaches 18-20 m. There are two sinkholes here – a Large and a Small Abyss. Therefore, divers are very frequent visitors to these places.

Night Kazan.

A tour to Kazan is impossible to imagine without this tour! Kazan in May is beautiful during the day and magnificent at night, when its temples, mosques, theaters put on their evening attire.

We will be happy to take a bus and walking tour of the most important sights of the city. In the evening illumination you will see the Kremlin, the puppet theater, the embankment, the famous registry office in the form of a bowl, near which winged, mythical creatures live.

On this day, we will attend a master class in calligraphy. But we won't tell you exactly what we're going to draw yet.
