A weekend on the Kola Peninsula. Tour for February 23rd

Option number 1. Walking tour in Teriberka.

~ 08:30-09:00 Departure for a guided tour.

We pick up guests from the central point of the city, the Five Corners Square, the Meridian Hotel or the Cosmos Hotel.

~ 10:30 Stop in the tundra. We will stop right in the middle of the endless tundra. No walks are planned, but you can take some photos. Then we will set off for the sea again.

Kola wind farm: the largest wind farm in the Arctic Circle. It consists of 57 impressive turbines, giving a fantastic view of the local landscape.

~ 11:30-14:00 Dragon Eggs beach and waterfall. We will go to the famous pebble beach. You will see rounded boulders up close, you will be able to touch them, climb on them and take pictures.

And we'll also see the same waterfall that you've seen in so many photos — feel free standing right on the edge in front of the Arctic Ocean (depending on the snow cover, there will be either a hike or a snowmobile sleigh ride).

~ 14:30-15:30 Lunch. The tour will be interrupted for a set lunch at one of the cafes in Teriberka.

~ 15:30 Ship graveyard. We will visit the ship cemetery. This is a place where only old wooden skeletons remind of the booming industry that gave rise to the settlement.

~ 16:00 Sandy beach in staraya Teriberka. We will make a stop on the sandy beach near the restaurants of Teriberka, where you can swing on a huge swing right by the sea. Here you can also see an old fishing ship washed up on the sand and see the skeleton of a whale that was used in the filming of the movie Leviathan.

~ 16:30 Departure to Murmansk.

~ 19:00 Return to Murmansk.

We deliver guests to their places of residence in Murmansk.

Option #2. Boat trip in Teriberka.

~ 08:00-08:20 Departure for the tour. We pick up guests from the central point of the city, the Five Corners Square, the Meridian Hotel or the Cosmos Hotel.

~ 10:00-10:15 Stop in the tundra. We will stop right in the middle of the endless tundra. No walks are planned, but you can take some photos. Then we will set off for the sea again.

~ 12:00-14:00 Going to sea by boat. This tour includes an exciting boat trip along the coast of Teriberka.

When you go out to sea, you will have a chance to see whales and other marine life.

Also, during the boat trip, we will see the famous Battery Waterfall and the Dragon Eggs beach.

~ 14:30-15:30 Lunch. The tour will be interrupted for a set lunch at one of the cafes in Teriberka.

~ 15:30 Sandy beach in staraya Teriberka. We will make a stop on the sandy beach near the restaurants of Teriberka, where you can swing on a huge swing right by the sea. Please note! If the road to Teriberka is actually or likely to be closed, the tour will automatically be replaced by an excursion to Kirovsk. The program of the tour is in the "Important to know" section.

After any of the selected options in Teriberka, a second trip to the "hunt" for the northern Lights.

~ 20:00-23:00 Departure for a guided tour.

~ 01:00-05:00 End of the tour.

Duration of the trip: 3-5 hours.

~ 11:00 Departure for the tour.

We pick up guests from the central point of the city, the Five Corners Square, the Meridian Hotel or the Cosmos Hotel.

~ 11:30 a.m. Monument "Lighthouse". Memorial complex to the sailors who died in peacetime. A fragment of the famous Kursk submarine is located near the Lighthouse.

~ 12:10 p.m. Monument "Alyosha". The tallest monument beyond the Arctic Circle, the Memorial to the Defenders of the Soviet Arctic during the Great Patriotic War.

The warrior's gaze is directed to the west, towards the Valley of Glory, where during the Great Patriotic War the fiercest battles took place on the outskirts of Murmansk.

~ 12:50 p.m. Monument "Waiting". A monument that everyone loves so much: both locals and visitors of the city. Monument to a woman waiting for her sailor.

~ 13:40 Lunch. A set lunch in one of the restaurants in Murmansk.

~ 14:30 Drive across the Kola Bridge to the opposite shore of the bay and enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the other side of the Kola Bay.

In this part of the program you will find:

• Kola Bridge ride;
• Open-air Museum of Military Equipment;
• Abram Cape – a viewing platform on the other side of the bay;
• the ice-free Kola Bay.

~ 16:30 The Icebreaker Lenin and the Murmansk Seaport. The next point of our trip will be the Murmansk Seaport, where we will see the world's first nuclear icebreaker Lenin.

Please note! A visit to the icebreaker is provided for in the program, but at the moment the icebreaker is reorganizing the booking system, and cancellation of all bookings is possible. In case of cancellation, we will do our best to arrange a visit, and if it is impossible to implement, we will make a refund for the visit.

~ 17:40 End of the tour.

~ 09:20 or 12:20 Departure from Murmansk. We are picking you up from the central point of the city on the Five Corners Square – the Meridian Hotel or the Cosmos Hotel.

~ 10:00 or 13:00 Arrival at the park and start of the program.

The briefing. We will be introduced to safety procedures and rules of conduct on the territory.

The Park of northern animals. We will proceed to the location of the reindeer and Siberian huskies. Let's feed the animals, find out everything about their lives.

Sami Plague. A shaman's plague lecture (a story about the peoples of the North, making wishes, tasting venison broth, northern tea);

Sami games. Sami football, tug of war or throwing axes.

Reindeer sledding 500 meters and snow banana riding 500 meters (if there is not enough snow cover, ATV riding will be organized).

~ 13:30 or 16:30 Departure from the park and return to Murmansk.
