Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Getting to know the North. Boat trip

You arrive in the hero city of Murmansk by air or railway transport on your own.

Gathering of the group at 12:00 at the address: Five Corners square, 5/23 Vorovsky St., Meridian Hotel lobby (the exact time will be indicated by the guide the day before).

Check in at the hypermarket on the way to Teriberka.

Teriberka is a remote place, shops and pharmacies are often closed, so that you will not be left without food and medicines, we will stop at the hypermarket.

Crossing the endless tundra towards the ocean.

The road to Teriberka will take about 2.5 hours in one direction.

The path itself will run through the amazing and incredible expanses of the northern tundra.

Along the way, we will make several stops to capture the beauty of the North on film.

On the way, the guide will tell you fascinating facts from the history of this amazing region.

Check-in at the hotel according to the program.

The hotel is located in the heart of the famous village of Teriberka, which is located in a picturesque corner of the Kola Peninsula on the coast of the Arctic Ocean.

Lunch with a view of the ocean and the enchanting beauty of Teriberka (optional, self-paid).

A boat trip in search of wonders.

The most long—awaited thing is that we are going to surf the Barents Sea.

A sea voyage through the waters of the Barents Sea awaits you.

Along the way, we will observe the bird markets, enjoy the fascinating views of the steep cliffs going deep into the seabed and the vast expanses of the Barents Sea.

And most importantly, along the way we will have a unique opportunity to see whales, killer whales and other marine life!

Their appearance depends on many factors, one of which is the weather, but we are setting ourselves up for luck and success!

If sailing is not possible due to weather conditions, the tour program will be changed and the cost of the tour will be recalculated.

The filming location of the film that gave a new life — "Leviathan".

Teriberka found a new life after the release of the film Leviathan by Andrey Zvyagintsev, which was filmed in these picturesque places.

You will be able to personally walk around the filming locations and see the skeleton of a mystical creature.

A sandy beach and unity with nature.

Big thanks to our guide, Ruslan, and driver, Alexey! Ruslan shared fascinating facts, quickly resolved any questions, and always had a plan B ready for any unexpected changes. One such change was when we saw blasting work along the highway to Teriberka, which made us arrive back an hour later than planned, but it was totally worth it! A quick tip about clothing: bring not only warm clothes but also a swimsuit, T-shirts, and shorts (if you’re visiting in summer). The memo didn’t mention this, but you might want to take a dip in the Barents Sea or Seydozero, and the weather can be unpredictable, swinging from very hot to very cold. I’d also like to mention their flexibility. We were staying at the Cosmos Hotel, a 20-minute walk from the meeting point, and when we had excursions leaving at 7:30, and even 7:00 the next day, those 20 minutes made a big difference. They kindly picked us up directly from the hotel—special thanks for that!
