Four days on the Kola Peninsula. Autumn-winter tour

Murmansk is the largest city beyond the Arctic Circle. This is where all our trips on the Kola Peninsula begin. Let's get to know the city better and visit the most interesting sights.

~ 09:00-09:30 Departure for a guided tour. We pick up guests from the central point of the city, the Five Corners Square, the Meridian Hotel or the Cosmos Hotel. In the rates with accommodation — from the hotel.

~ 10:15 a.m. Monument "Lighthouse". Memorial complex to the sailors who died in peacetime. A fragment of the famous Kursk submarine is located near the Lighthouse.

~ 10:50 Monument "Alyosha". Restoration until 2028. The tallest monument beyond the Arctic Circle, the Memorial to the Defenders of the Soviet Arctic during the Great Patriotic War. The warrior's gaze is directed to the west, towards the Valley of Glory, where during the Great Patriotic War the fiercest battles took place on the outskirts of Murmansk.

~ 11:20 a.m. Monument "Waiting". A monument that everyone loves so much: both locals and visitors of the city. Monument to a woman waiting for her sailor.

~ 12:00 The icebreaker Lenin and the Murmansk Seaport. The next point of our trip will be the Murmansk Seaport, where we will see the world's first nuclear icebreaker Lenin.

~ 13:15 Lunch. A set lunch in one of the restaurants in Murmansk.

~ 15:30 Drive across the Kola Bridge to the opposite shore of the bay and enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the other side of the Kola Bay.

In this part of the program, you will have a trip across the Kola Bridge, the open-air museum of military equipment, Abram Cape, a viewing platform on the other side of the bay, and the ice–free Kola Bay.

~ 15:00 Arrival at the yacht club. Floating for those who wish to make a reservation.

If there are no floating participants, the tour ends at 15:30. Participants who do not participate in the floating will be able to bask in a tea house and observe Murmansk from the bay.

~ 15:00 Briefing, changing into costumes. The guide will conduct a safety briefing, and the guests will change into special waterproof bathing suits.

~ 15:15 Swimming in the bay. Swimming in the ice of the ice-free Kola Bay in a special wetsuit, which gives a feeling of weightlessness.

~ 16:00 Dressing up, tea party. After bathing, guests will be treated to hot tea.

~ 16:30-17:00 End of the tour. We deliver guests to their places of residence in Murmansk.

Hunting for the northern Lights. The Northern Lights are one of the most fascinating natural phenomena! Many travelers dream of seeing Aurora at least once in their lives — it is included in the list of "must-see" natural wonders.

Food:

1. Breakfast is included (for the rate with accommodation).
2. Lunch – meals in one of the restaurants in Murmansk. Fish or meat set meals. It is possible to replace dishes with a special diet.
3. Dinner is not included.

Option number 1. Walking tour in Teriberka.

Within a few years after the release of the film Leviathan, Teriberka has become the most desirable place for all travelers to Kolsky.

On this tour, you will visit the famous places of Teriberka, see the majestic beauty of the north, and feel the atmosphere of life at the edge of the world.

~ 07:30-07:40 Departure for the tour. We pick up our guests from the central point of the city, Five Corners Square, the Meridian Hotel or the Cosmos Hotel.

~ 09:30-09:45 Stop in the tundra. We will stop right in the middle of the endless tundra. No walks are planned, but you can take some photos.

Then we will set off for the sea again.

Kola Wind Farm: The largest wind farm in the Arctic Circle. It consists of 57 impressive turbines, giving a fantastic view of the local landscape.

~ 11:00-13:00 Guided walk. While the group members will go on a boat trip, the participants who choose a walking trip will explore the surroundings on their own.

~ 13:30-14:15 Lunch. The tour will be interrupted for a set lunch at one of the cafes in Teriberka.

~ 14:30 Dragon Eggs beach and waterfall. After lunch, we will go to the famous pebble beach. You will see rounded boulders up close, you will be able to touch them, climb on them and take pictures. And we will also see the same waterfall that you have seen in many photos — you will feel freedom standing right on the edge in front of the Arctic Ocean.

~ 17:30 Graveyard of ships. We will visit the ship cemetery. This is a place where only old wooden skeletons remind of the booming industry that gave rise to the settlement.

~ 17:45 Sandy beach in staraya Teriberka. We will make a stop on the sandy beach near the restaurants of Teriberka, where you can swing on a huge swing right by the sea. Here you can also see an old fishing ship washed up on the sand and see the skeleton of a whale that was used in the filming of the movie Leviathan.

~ 18:15-21:15 Departure to Murmansk, return to the hotel.

Option #2. Boat trip in Teriberka.

~ 08:00-08:30 Departure for a guided tour. We pick up guests from the central point of the city, the Five Corners Square — the Meridian Hotel or the Cosmos Hotel.

~ 10:00-10:15 Stop in the tundra. We will stop right in the middle of the endless tundra. No walks are planned, but you can take some photos. Then we will set off for the sea again.

As an alternative to walking through the Teriberka Nature Park, you can choose to go out to sea by boat. Due to the short daylight hours and the polar night, both directions cannot be detected at dusk/daylight.

~ 13:30 Sandy beach in staraya Teriberka. We will make a stop on the sandy beach near the restaurants of Teriberka, where you can swing on a huge swing right by the sea. Here you can also see a fishing ship washed up on the sand and see the skeleton of a whale that was used in the filming of the movie Leviathan.

~ 14:30-15:30 Lunch. The tour will be interrupted for a set lunch in one of the cafes in Teriberka.

~ 15:30 Ship graveyard. We will visit the ship cemetery. This is a place where only old wooden skeletons remind of the booming industry that gave rise to the settlement.

~ 16:00 Departure to Murmansk.

~ 18:00 Return to Murmansk.

A live introduction to the Sami culture awaits you in the Northern Lights Park! You will hear stories about everyday life and traditions, try on costumes in the plague and experience the spirit of the North through active entertainment. End this vibrant adventure with a Sami dish tasting.

~ 09:20 or 12:20 Departure from Murmansk. We are picking you up from the central point of the city on the Five Corners Square – the Meridian Hotel or the Cosmos Hotel.

~ Briefing. We will be introduced to safety procedures and rules of conduct on the territory.

~ Northern Animal Park. We will proceed to the location of the reindeer and Siberian huskies. Let's feed the animals, find out everything about their lives.

~ Sami Plague. A shaman's plague lecture (a story about the peoples of the North, making wishes, tasting venison broth, northern tea);

~ Sami games. Sami football, tug of war or throwing axes.

~ Winter skiing. Reindeer sledding 500 meters and snow banana riding 500 meters (if there is not enough snow cover, ATV riding will be organized).

~ 13:30 or 16:30 Departure from the park and return to Murmansk.
