You will live far from civilization in a well-maintained wooden house with a fireplace and a sauna, you will go on snowmobiles to a small island in the Lovozersk tundra where in the evenings you will catch the aurora borealis. You will visit the reindeer herders' farm and get acquainted with the Sami way of life and cuisine. And then move closer to the Barents Sea to Teriberka in search of whales. Mesmerizing landscapes and a lot of impressions from what you saw will be remembered for a lifetime!

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Meeting with the group. Departure to the village of Lovozero

    Arrival in Murmansk. 

    10:00 Meeting in the city, departure to the village of Lovozero at the airport. The road to Lovozero village is 130 km by minibus (approximately 2.5 hours) with a stop at a cafe on the way. 

    A 25 km snowmobile sledge ride to the base. 

    Accommodation in a comfortable and comfortable house.

     Supper.

  • Day 2 - A sleigh ride to Seydoozero
  • Day 3 - Deer camp. Husky Park
  • Day 4 - Transfer to Teriberka village
  • Day 5 - A day in Teriberka on the shore of the Barents Sea
  • Day 6 - A walk through the Old Teriberka. Murmansk

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour
  • individual first aid kit (with the necessary set of personal and specific medicines no more than 200 g by weight);
  • A backpack for radial exits – one can be used for everything;
  • a plastic bag or a hermetic bag (inserted inside the backpack to protect against moisture) ;
  • headlamp; batteries;
  • sunglasses;
  • sleeping bag;
  • spoon, mug, plate, knife;
  • matches sealed in polyethylene or plastic packaging, lighter;
  • thermos;
  • thermal underwear (winter);
  • winter insulated trousers;
  • fleece; warm vest;
  • storm suit – windproof jacket + trousers;
  • the down jacket is thick; 
  • socks (winter trekking and woolen, high) — at least 2 pairs;
  • winter boots + warmers + shoe covers with rubber galoshes;
  • eva boots with a thick liner -60, etc. with enough free space inside under the toe of the insole, etc. (if the shoes put even a little pressure on even the coolest ones, the feet will freeze);
  • felt boots with a sole with a free space inside;
  • slippers for houses;
  • the cap is warm and windproof (if a regular hat, then the jacket should have a hood,
    buff or scarf around the neck, balaclava);
  • fleece gloves + downy mittens (or fleece gloves, warm mittens + windproof large mittens);
  • disposable hand and foot warmers;
  • personal hygiene products (toothbrush and paste, toilet paper, etc.).
