The legendary giant nuclear-powered vessel, which had no analogues in the world before, was developed in the USSR in the 50s of the last century.
It was used to provide navigation along the Northern Sea Route. Since 1989, the icebreaker, which has served for 30 years, has been permanently berthed in the seaport of Murmansk.
