Day 1 - Getting to know Murmansk. Photo hunt for the Northern Lights
You arrive in the hero city of Murmansk by air or railway transport on your own. We recommend that you arrive before 13:00 so that you have time to get to the hotel and check in.
Check-in at the hotel according to international standards starts at 14:00. Check-in time at the hotel can be changed/ different, in case of postponement of check-in time, things can be left in the luggage room.
General meeting of the group for acquaintance. The meeting time of the group is 14:30 at the address: 5/23 Five Corners Square, Vorovsky St., Meridian Hotel lobby (the exact time will be indicated by the guide the day before).
Lunch is optional, for an additional fee.payment.
Sightseeing tour of the hero city of Murmansk.
You will learn the origin of the name, get acquainted with the significant architectural sights of Murmansk.
The first point of the tour will be the Marine Station and the first nuclear-powered vessel on the planet, the nuclear icebreaker Lenin (external inspection, guided tour if tickets are available).
Then you will go to the Memorial "To the Sailors who died in peacetime": a tower stylized as a lighthouse, a ship's anchor and part of the cabin raised from the Kursk submarine, the Church of the Savior on Waters.
Looking into the distance, you will definitely notice the snow-white figure of a soldier, more than 35 meters high. The next point of the tour will be the Green Cape Hill and the memorial to the "Defenders of the Soviet Arctic", popularly known as "Alyosha".
Not far from the defender of the Arctic, the Waiting stands and waits for her sailor, a touching and elegant monument, a collective image of all women who wait every minute of their lives for the return of their husbands, sons and fathers.
After the tour, you will have free time to relax or take a walk around Murmansk in the evening. Buy souvenirs and have dinner at the restaurant.

All the beauty is revealed far from the city lights, in the open spaces of the northern nature.
Gathering of the group at the Meridian Hotel. The guide will inform you about the exact time the day before. Please do not be late and always stay in touch, as the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and check—out times may change.
Hunting can take several hours, we kindly ask you to take care of warm clothes and shoes in advance!
During the search, the guide will not only tell you the details and rules of shooting, but also tell you about the wonders that are associated with the northern lights, the nature of its origin, the legends and secrets of the unique phenomenon.
Taking photos during the aurora is included in the price. During shooting, you must carefully listen to the guide, observe safety precautions, and turn off the flash on the cameras.
Important! The photographer guide takes several general group shots after each participant's photo. If the flash duration allows, you can take a few additional pictures.
Return to Murmansk, to the starting point. The next day will be no less fabulous.

Day 2 - To the Edge of the World in Teriberka. The second trip to the photo hunt for the Northern lights

Meeting in the lobby of the Meridian Hotel, 5/23 Vorovsky St., Five Corners Square.
Crossing the endless tundra towards the ocean.
The trip to Teriberka will take about 2.5 hours in one direction.
The path itself will run through the amazing and incredible expanses of the northern tundra. On the way, the guide will tell you fascinating facts from the history of this amazing region.
There will be several stops along the way to capture the beauty of the North on film.
The cemetery of sunken ships.
As you know, Teriberka is an ancient fishing village, whose life began with fishing.
The cemetery of ships is the main evidence of the past, the ship's frames are forever buried on the shoal of the Teribersk Bay.
Teriberka Nature Park.
The Teriberka Nature Park is located on an area of several thousand hectares, which ensures the preservation of natural objects with high value.
Among the main places included in the park, you will visit:
Battery Waterfall, whose waters fall from the Small Battery Lake;
Dragon Egg beach, where you can take lots of atmospheric photos.
During the snowy winter, when you can't get to Dragon Eggs Beach, Battery Falls and other natural attractions on foot, you can use a snowmobile sled.
Lunch with a view of the ocean and the enchanting beauty of Teriberka (self-paid upon pre-order).
Important! For reasons beyond the control of the company, lunch may be canceled.
A sandy beach and unity with nature.
You can ride on the northernmost swing and take photos overlooking the ocean.
Farewell to Teriberka and the ocean.
We are returning to Murmansk, the day was bright with impressions and full of emotions.
The guide will inform you of the end time of the trip the day before, and the estimated arrival time is 21:00 (time may vary depending on weather conditions).
In case of cancellation of the trip on the first day, go hunting for the northern Lights with a favorable forecast.
Important! The road to Teriberka may be closed in winter due to weather conditions, so as not to risk your safety, the trip may be postponed to another popular destination — Kirovsk, Khibiny. You can familiarize yourself with the program in the "Important to know" section.

Day 3 - Ethnic motives

Transfer to Kirovsk, the heart of Khibiny.

On the passes and at the mountain lakes, it simply takes your breath away and breaks through an avalanche of emotions from the harsh beauty of the North. Khibiny is the largest mountain range on the Kola Peninsula and one of the most interesting in its mineralogy in the world.

Arrival in Kirovsk.

The sightseeing tour of the city provides 2-3 stops in the most picturesque places so that you can not only enjoy a comfortable trip, but also capture all the beauties of the very heart of Khibiny.

Apatit Museum and Exhibition Center.

The organization of the tour was excellent. However, there was one downside: on the last day, the departure was scheduled for seven in the morning, and the group had to leave without breakfast. This isn’t our first trip, and in similar situations, we’ve usually been provided with packed meals. Unfortunately, this time that didn’t happen, and the hotel breakfast also starts at seven.
