Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Departure for the Northern Lights
You arrive in the hero city of Murmansk on your own.
We recommend that you arrive before 18:00 so that you have time to get to the hotel and check in.
Check-in at the hotel according to international standards starts at 14:00.
Check-in time at the hotel can be changed/ different, in case of postponement of check-in time, things can be left in the luggage room.
Let's go on a photo hunt!
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and no one can guarantee its appearance.
Important! Departure is carried out according to favorable forecasts, in the absence of minimal chances, departure can be canceled and postponed to the next day.
It's impossible to watch the flashes burning in the sky in the city.
All the beauty is revealed far from the city lights, in the open spaces of the northern nature.

The guide will inform you about the exact time the day before.
Please do not be late and always stay in touch, as the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and check—out times may change.
Hunting can take several hours, we kindly ask you to take care of warm clothes and shoes in advance!
During the search, the guide will not only tell you the details and rules of shooting, but also tell you about the wonders that are associated with the northern lights, the nature of its origin, the legends and secrets of the unique phenomenon.
Taking photos during the aurora is included in the price.
During shooting, you must carefully listen to the guide, observe safety precautions, and turn off the flash on the cameras.
Important! The photographer guide takes several general group shots after each participant's photo.
If the flash duration allows, you can take a few additional pictures.
We are returning to Murmansk, to the starting point.

Day 2 - Teriberka. Boat trip
Gathering of the group in Teriberka.
The guide will inform you of the departure time the day before, the approximate departure time is 8:00 (time may vary, depending on weather conditions).
We will meet in the lobby of the Meridian Hotel, Five Corners Square, Vorovsky St., 5/23, Murmansk.
Crossing the endless tundra towards the ocean.
The trip to Teriberka will take about 2.5 hours in one direction.
The path itself will run through the amazing and incredible expanses of the northern tundra.
Along the way, we will make several stops to capture the beauty of the North on film.
On the way, the guide will tell you fascinating facts from the history of this amazing region.
The cemetery of abandoned ships is the main evidence of the past, the ship's frames are forever buried on the shoal of the Teribersk Bay.
A boat trip in search of wonders — let's go in search of whales!
A sea trip through the waters of the Barents Sea awaits you.
Along the way, we will observe the bird markets, enjoy the fascinating views of the steep cliffs extending deep into the seabed and the vast expanses of the Barents Sea.
And most importantly, along the way we will have a unique opportunity to see whales, killer whales and other marine life!
If the boat trip does not take place due to weather conditions, a refund is provided.
Lunch with a view of the ocean and the enchanting beauty of Teriberka.
A multi-course set lunch: vegetable salad, Kola soup or chicken noodle soup, a choice of meat or fish dish with side dish, bread basket and northern berry morse.
Important! For reasons beyond the company's control, lunch may be canceled or booked at another restaurant.
Teriberka Nature Park: The Teriberka Nature Park is located on an area of several thousand hectares, which ensures the preservation of natural objects with high value.
Among the main places included in the park, we will visit:
Battery Waterfall, whose waters fall from the Small Battery Lake;
Dragon egg beach, traveling along the beach, you can take a lot of atmospheric photos.
During the snowy winter, when you can't get to Dragon Eggs Beach, Battery Falls and other natural attractions on foot, we'll use a snowmobile sled.
We say goodbye to Teriberka and the ocean.
We return to Murmansk.
The guide will inform you of the finish time the day before, and the estimated arrival time is 21:00 (time may vary depending on weather conditions).
In case of cancellation of the trip on the first day, go hunting for the northern Lights with a favorable forecast.
Important! The road to Teriberka may be closed in winter due to weather conditions, we do not risk your safety and will transfer the trip to another popular destination – Kirovsk. It is also possible to combine the second and third days of the tour with the recalculation of the cost of the tour (see the detailed program in the "Important to know" section).

Day 3 - Ethnic park. Departure
Gathering a group.
The guide will inform you of the departure time the day before, the approximate departure time is 8:00 (time may vary, depending on the session).
We will meet in the lobby of the Meridian Hotel, Five Corners Square, Vorovsky St., 5/23, Murmansk.
Murmansk — Kirovsk transfer, the average journey time is 2.5 hours, including stops.
In the program:
stories and legends about the indigenous peoples of the Far North at the burning hearth;
active games (lasso throwing, archery, Sami football);
unique Sami objects and artifacts;
feeding reindeer and huskies. You will have the opportunity to take photos and videos.;
reindeer sledding (in winter);
lunch (a multi-course set meal).
Return to Murmansk.
Completion of the tour.

Clothing and shoes:

Autumn: Windproof and waterproof clothing. Jackets preferably with a hood. The weather in the North is often changeable, precipitation is possible. A headdress. A set of thermal underwear and a fleece jacket. Comfortable waterproof shoes. Ideally, trekking boots or running shoes.
Winter: Thermal underwear, warm winter jacket and trousers, high-top warm winter shoes, hat, scarf, gloves (take spare items with you).

The organization of the tour was excellent. However, there was one downside: on the last day, the departure was scheduled for seven in the morning, and the group had to leave without breakfast. This isn’t our first trip, and in similar situations, we’ve usually been provided with packed meals. Unfortunately, this time that didn’t happen, and the hotel breakfast also starts at seven.
