An exciting fishing tour with the opportunity to try your hand at the picturesque rapids of the northern Okhta River. 

In 9 days you will be able to fully enjoy the beauty of Karelia: see sunsets and sunrises, feel the warmth of warm evenings with songs around the campfire to the guitar, admire the white nights and go fishing. Along the way, you will find 46 ridges, rapids, shivers and 6 floating dams, as well as 9 lakes of different sizes that connect the river.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Kem. Lake Muezero. The beginning of the rafting

    01:26 Meeting at the railway station in Kem with a sign.

    Transfer to Lake. Muezero (140 km, approximately 5 hours).

    Overnight in tents.

    Late breakfast.

    11:00 Gathering of equipment.

    Lunch.

    Rafting along the route: Lake Muezero — O. Trinity (St. Peter's Church St. Nicholas the Wonderworker (1602), chapel and 300-year-old larches) — Lake dam. Muezero (8 km).

Rafting is not difficult in terms of load, but the river is located in a remote area. If you need to leave the route, it will be very expensive to call a transport.

Personal equipment you need for the tour

A set of clothes for the alloy:

  • sneakers/sandals (closed toes and fixed heel) or neoprene boots;
  • shorts;
  • thermal underwear;
  • water-repellent pants and jacket;
  • raincoat;
  • headdress (cap, bandana, panama hat);
  • sunglasses;
  • gloves.

A replacement set of clothes after the alloy:

  • sneakers/boots;
  • rubber boots (optional);
  • socks;

  • T-shirt;
  • long sleeve shirt;
  • sweater;
  • tight pants (jeans);
  • the jacket is warm.

 A set of clothes for sleeping:

  • thermal underwear;
  • socks made of natural materials;

  • toiletries and bath accessories;
  • swimsuit, swimming trunks;

  • KLMN - Mug, spoon, bowl, knife;

  • needle, thread;
  • matches and a lighter in a bag;
  • replacement contact lenses/glasses;
  • flashlight (in August);
  • camera and batteries for it;
  • personal equipment (tent, sleeping bag, mat). If you don't have your own equipment, you can rent it from us.We recommend taking a personal sleeping bag, due to hygiene reasons;
  • documents in sealed packaging: passport, medical insurance policy;
  • personal first aid kit (medications that you take all the time).
