Umba and the White Sea. Alloy

This stunning route passes through the Kola Peninsula with beautiful northern nature and great fishing. 

The water in the Umba River is pure, bluish-green in color. On the way we will pass many lakes and various rapids. 

On the sixth day of rafting on the Umba River, we will go out to sea and spend two unforgettable days on the picturesque shores of the White Sea.

For groups of 12 people or more, it is possible to conduct a tour on any date.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Catamaran rafting on the Umba River

    08:22 Meeting at the railway station in Apatity.

    Transfer to the start of the rafting (40 km).

    Introduction, equipment.

    Briefing and lunch.

    Access to the water.

    Rafting along the route: a/m bridge of the Umba — port river. Padun is 3-4 k.s., consisting of 3 steps and about 1 km (8 km) long.

    Dinner and overnight in tents.

    Those who wish to arrive quickly at the beginning of the rafting can fly by plane to Khibiny airport, then take a taxi to the place where the rafting begins (for details, contact the manager).

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour

A set of clothes for the alloy:

  • sneakers/sandals (closed toes and fixed heel) or neoprene boots;
  • shorts;
  • thermal underwear;
  • water-repellent pants and jacket;
  • raincoat;
  • headdress (cap, bandana, panama hat);
  • sunglasses;
  • gloves.

A replacement set of clothes after the alloy:

  • sneakers/boots;
  • rubber boots (optional);
  • socks;
  • lingerie;
  • T-shirt;
  • long sleeve shirt;
  • sweater;
  • tight pants (jeans);
  • the jacket is warm.

 A set of clothes for sleeping:

  • thermal underwear;
  • socks made of natural materials;
  • wool socks;
  • sports pants;
  • sweater;
  • sports hat (optional);
  • lingerie.

Additionally, take on the alloy:

  • toiletries and bath accessories;
  • swimsuit, swimming trunks;
  • fishing gear;
  • ointment or insect spray;
  • sun cream;
  • KLMN - mug, spoon, bowl, knife;
  • personal hygiene items;
  • needle, thread;
  • matches and a lighter in a bag;
  • replacement contact lenses/glasses;
  • flashlight (in August);
  • camera and batteries for it;
  • personal equipment (tent, sleeping bag, mat). If you don't have your own equipment, you can rent it from us. We recommend taking a personal sleeping bag, due to hygiene reasons;
  • documents in sealed packaging: passport, medical insurance policy;
  • personal first aid kit (medications that you take all the time).

There are also special clothes for rafting, which you can buy yourself or rent from us:

  • a neoprene wetsuit.
