Spring in Murmansk

Duration of the trip: 5-6 hours.

The program of the excursion:

~ 09:30 Departure for the tour. We pick up our guests from the central point of the city, Five Corners Square, the Meridian Hotel or the Cosmos Hotel.

~ 09:50 Monument "Lighthouse". Memorial complex to the sailors who died in peacetime. A fragment of the famous Kursk submarine is located near the Lighthouse.

~ 10:20 a.m. Monument "Alyosha". The tallest monument beyond the Arctic Circle, the Memorial to the Defenders of the Soviet Arctic during the Great Patriotic War. The warrior's gaze is directed to the west, towards the Valley of Glory, where during the Great Patriotic War the fiercest battles took place on the outskirts of Murmansk.

~ 10:50 a.m. The Lenin icebreaker and the Murmansk Seaport. The next point of our trip will be the Murmansk seaport, we will see the world's first nuclear icebreaker Lenin (without visiting, external inspection).

~ 11:20 Departure to the yacht club. We will go to the opposite shore of the Kola Bay, where the floating will take place.

~ 12:00-12:10 Briefing and changing clothes. We will select the necessary equipment, help you put on a suit and familiarize you with safety measures. The suits are designed to be at least 150 cm tall.

~ 12:10-12:50 Swimming. Swimming in the Kola Bay will give you a feeling of weightlessness, relieve stress, and boost your energy and good mood. You will spend up to 40 minutes in the water under the guidance of an experienced guide.

~ 12:50-13:10 Tea party. After bathing, you will have a tea party in a warm room.

~ 14:00 Lunch. A set lunch in one of the restaurants in Murmansk.

Duration of the trip: 10-14 hours.

The program of the excursion:

~ 07:30-07:40 Departure for the tour.

You will be picked up from the central point of the city, the Five Corners Square, the Meridian Hotel or the Cosmos Hotel.

~ 09:30-09:45 Stop in the tundra. We will stop right in the middle of the endless tundra. No walks are planned, but you can take some photos.

Then we will set off for the sea again.

The Kola wind farm. The largest wind farm in the Arctic Circle. It consists of 57 impressive turbines, giving a fantastic view of the local landscape.

~ 11:00-13:00 For those who choose a boat trip, go to sea by boat. This tour includes an exciting boat trip along the coast of Teriberka.

While you enjoy the views from the water, those who choose to hike will explore the surroundings on their own.

When you go out to sea, you will have a chance to see whales and other marine life. Also, during the boat trip, we will see the famous Battery Waterfall and the Dragon Eggs beach.

~ 13:30-14:15 Lunch. The tour will be interrupted for a set lunch at one of the cafes in Teriberka.

~ 14:30 Dragon Eggs beach and waterfall. After lunch we will go to the famous pebble beach.

You will see rounded boulders up close, you will be able to touch them, climb on them and take pictures. And we will also see the same waterfall that you have seen in many photos — you will feel freedom standing right on the edge in front of the Arctic Ocean.

~ 17:30 Graveyard of ships. We will visit the ship cemetery. This is a place where only old wooden skeletons remind of the booming industry that gave rise to the settlement.

~ 17:45 Sandy beach in staraya Teriberka. We will make a stop on the sandy beach near the restaurants of Teriberka, where you can swing on a huge swing right by the sea.

Here you can also see an old fishing ship washed up on the sand and see the skeleton of a whale that was used in the filming of the movie Leviathan.

~ 18:15 Departure to Murmansk.

~ 20:45-21:15 Return to Murmansk.

You will be transported to your place of residence in Murmansk.

Please note! Groups with the excursion "Teriberka: walking tour" and the excursion "Teriberka: boat trip" can be either adjacent (in one bus) or separate (in different buses), the program for the adjacent group is described above.

If the groups are separate, then a 2-hour wait is not provided for those who purchased a walking tour (while those who choose a boat trip go to sea). In this case, the tour program will be shortened by 2-2.5 hours and the return to Murmansk will be approximately at 18:00-19:00.

The program of the excursion:

~ 09:20-09:30 Departure from Murmansk.

We are picking you up from the central point of the city, the Five Corners Square – the Meridian Hotel or the Cosmos Hotel. We will go on a Sami guided tour, the approximate distance from Murmansk is 30 km.

~ 10:00 Arrival at the park and start of the program.

~ 10 min. The briefing. We will be introduced to safety procedures and rules of conduct on the territory.

~ 20-40 min. The Park of northern animals. We will proceed to the location of the reindeer and Siberian huskies. Let's feed the animals, find out everything about their lives.

~ 10-15 min. Sami Plague. A shaman's plague lecture (a story about the peoples of the North, making wishes, tasting venison broth, northern tea).

~ 30 min. Sami games. Sami football, tug of war or throwing axes.

~ 15 min. ATV riding.

~ 30 min. Lunch.

~ 13:00-14:00 Departure from the park and return to Murmansk.
