Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Murmansk. City tour

    We recommend that you arrive in Murmansk the day before or on the first day of the tour no later than 10:00, so that you have time to check in and relax before departure.

    ~ 18:00-18:10 Departure for the tour.

    You will be picked up from the central point of the city at the Five Corners Square — the Meridian Hotel or the Cosmos Hotel.

    ~ 18:20 Icebreaker "Lenin" (without visiting) and Murmansk Seaport. The first point of the trip will be the Murmansk Seaport, where you will see the world's first nuclear icebreaker Lenin.

    ~ 19:00 Dinner. A full-fledged dinner in one of the cafes of the city.

    ~ 19:50 Monument "Lighthouse". Memorial complex to the sailors who died in peacetime. A fragment of the famous Kursk submarine is located near the Lighthouse.

    ~ 20:30 Monument "Alyosha". The tallest monument beyond the Arctic Circle, the Memorial to the Defenders of the Soviet Arctic during the Great Patriotic War.

    The warrior's gaze is directed to the west, towards the Valley of Glory, where during the Great Patriotic War the fiercest battles took place on the outskirts of Murmansk.

    ~ 21:10 Monument "Waiting". A monument that everyone loves so much: both locals and visitors of the city. Monument to a woman waiting for her sailor.

    ~ 20:30 Monument to the fortitude and courage of Murmansk residents during the Second World War — "Chimney". A place where you will definitely feel goosebumps running through your body.… Military songs, a gallery of photos of the war years and stoves.

    ~ 22:10 Drive across the Kola Bridge to the opposite shore of the bay and enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the other side of the Kola Bay.

    In this part of the program you will find:

    • Kola Bridge ride;
    • Open-air Museum of Military Equipment;
    • Abram Cape – a viewing platform on the other side of the bay;
    • The ice-free Kola Bay.

    ~ 22:40 Lavna Waterfall. The height of the waterfall does not exceed 4 meters, despite its modest scale, it impresses with its fullness.

    ~ 23:40 — 00:20 End of the tour.

    You will be transported to your place of residence in Murmansk.

Cosmos Murmansk Hotel is located in Murmansk, 1.2 km from the city center.

Number of stars: 4.

All conditions for a comfortable stay are created here — there is a TV, hairdryer, iron, tea/coffee in the rooms, kettle, safe, heating, terrace, mini-bar. You can choose any of the 262 currently available rooms on Yandex.Travel. Cleaning is done every day.

The hotel has a restaurant, a bar, a gym, a sauna, and a conference room.

Each guest will have Internet access, you can upload photos, send a file or call your family by video.

Take into account the time of check-in at the hotel. Check-in here starts at 15:00, you need to leave before 12:00. Even if you arrive late at night, you will be met at the 24-hour front desk and will be helped with accommodation. There is an elevator inside. The hotel also has facilities for people with disabilities.

If you have a car, you can leave it in the parking lot. If you get there on your own, use the transfer service.
