Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Murmansk. Getting to know the capital of the Arctic
Gathering of guests in Murmansk in the city center. The exact time and place will be announced by the coordinator on the eve of departure.
Lunch at a restaurant in Murmansk (covered, included).
The beginning of the Murmansk city tour.
During the tour you will visit all the main attractions of the Arctic capital (the tour takes 3 hours):
The main observation deck of Murmansk and the monument to the Defenders of the Soviet Arctic "Alyosha", located on the Green Cape hill, offering panoramic views of the whole of Murmansk.
A visit to the Murmansk lighthouse and the cabin of the Kursk submarine.
Marine station with a small embankment and an inspection (without visiting) of the world's first nuclear icebreaker Lenin.
Visit to the observation deck on the opposite shore of the Kola Bay. We will cross the longest bridge above the Arctic Circle in the world and visit the village of Abram-cape, which offers stunning views of the port and the city of Murmansk.
Return to the Azimut hotel, completion of the tour.

Day 2 - Teriberka and the search for whales
Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide.
Departure to Teriberka.
The exact time and place of the training camp will be announced by the coordinator the day before.
The average journey time to Teriberka is 3 hours, including stops (130 km on the way).
Along the way, we make stops in picturesque places to observe the amazing landscapes of the Arctic tundra, enjoy the lakes and the northern expanses.
Arrival in Teriberka, and the first location to visit is the eternal parking lot of abandoned fishing ships ("graveyard of ships").
Then we go to the pier, where a boat is waiting for us, on which we will go in search of whales.
If access to the sea is impossible due to weather conditions, the tour program will be changed to an extended walking tour.
Attention! The berths do not have convenient access to boats due to strong tides. We'll have to go down the steep stairs. All berths in Teriberka were equipped for fishing and the corresponding boats.
The duration of the boat trip is approximately 2 hours. If we are lucky, we will see whales, dolphins and other marine life of the Barents Sea.
Arctic lunch at a local restaurant (included in the price).
Ground program (sky swing, ocean coast, Dragon Eggs beach, Battery Waterfall).
Return to Murmansk.

Day 3 - Khibiny mountains. Risyok Waterfall
Early rise, packing, breakfast.
We have a very busy day ahead of us!
We are going to the Khibiny Mountains. The distance to the destination is 220 km.
If possible, climb to the top of the mountain on the funicular of the Big Wood ski slope, from where, in clear weather, we will have panoramic views of the expanses of the Kola Peninsula.
Important: the funicular may not work.
A panoramic tour on an all-terrain vehicle without difficult physical exertion or, in adverse weather conditions, a visit to the installation "Mysterious Forest" or the Botanical Garden.
Lunch at a restaurant on the top of the mountain (if the lift is not working, lunch at a restaurant on the ground).
Return to Murmansk to the Azimut hotel, completion of the tour.

Day 4 - Trekking tour to the ancient Lovozero tundra
We get up early, have breakfast and prepare to embark on our first day tour to the Lovozero tundra.
If the tour to the Lovozero tundra does not take place due to bad weather (strong wind, rain, fog, etc.), we will replace the excursion program of this day.
Attention! Trekking tour to the Lovozero tundra is not suitable for everyone. If you have physical activity restrictions and other nuances, then be sure to warn the booking department manager about this before making an advance payment.
Gathering of guests in Murmansk. The exact time and place will be announced by the coordinator the day before.
Travel time is approximately 2.5 hours.
We arrive in the village of Revda, from where the main part of the program begins.
Passage to the beginning of the ascent into the tundra.
We begin our trekking to the top of Mount Alluive.
A walk along the plateau to the circus (a hollow in the form of an amphitheater), which offers an incredible view of the expanses of the Kola Peninsula.
Lunch in lunch boxes.
Departure back to Murmansk. The approximate arrival time is around 19:00.
Group transfer to the airport after the end of the tour on the last day of the tour.
Guests staying in Murmansk will be taken to the city center after the airport.

This year, I finally fulfilled a dream of visiting the Arctic Circle! A friend and I chose a summer trip to the North: 'Whales, Teriberka and Waterfalls.' We booked through the tour operator 'Big Country' and were really pleased with the experience. In just four days, we collected so many incredible memories: we saw stunning waterfalls, learned fascinating facts about the unique tundra landscape, went on a whale-watching boat ride, took amazing photos at Dragon Egg Beach, visited an indigenous Sami house and enjoyed delicious traditional dishes. We were thrilled with the trip! Special thanks to our guide Victor, who shared so many interesting stories, answered all our questions and led the tour with real passion! We stayed at the Azimut Hotel, which was great. Everything was well-organized with no issues at all—I loved it all!
