Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Murmansk. Hunting for the Northern Lights
Arrival in Murmansk.
We recommend arriving in Murmansk before 16:00 on the first day, so that you can check into the hotel, relax and leave your belongings.
Airport transfer is not included in the price of the tour (as guests often arrive at different times). The cost of a Yandex Taxi to Murmansk is approximately 1,000 rubles.
Welcome dinner at a restaurant in the center of Murmansk. Included in the price of the tour. We will try the Arctic cuisine and get to know the team.
Departure to the Northern Lights tour. The duration of the tour is 3-5 hours.
Photography is included in the price of the tour.
This Arctic Autumn program includes 2 trips to the Northern Lights at no extra charge, which increases our chances of seeing it up to 98%!
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and no one can guarantee its appearance. If we do not see the Northern Lights during our trips to the Northern Lights, then there are no discounts or refunds.
How the Northern Lights tour goes:
The gathering of tourists takes place in the parking lot at the entrance to the Azimut hotel (in the center of Murmansk). Approximate time of the training camp: 20:00-22:00. The exact time and place of the training camp is announced by the coordinator the day before. Please do not be late and arrive 10 minutes before the start.
Let's go on tour! The duration of the "hunt" is 3-5 hours, depending on how quickly we find the starry sky. The northern Lights can appear at any moment!
Photography is included in the price of the tour. First, we will take group photos, then individual ones on a first-come, first-served basis.
To keep warm, you will be offered hot tea with light snacks (sweets, chocolate, cookies).
During the tour, the guide will tell you about the nature of the northern Lights, and how it happens.
After the tour, you will be taken to your place of residence in Murmansk. The approximate time of return to Murmansk is 00:00-02:00 at night.
You will receive photos after the tour for 3-4 days after the end of the tour in the format of a link to Google Drive or Yandex Disk.
Important! The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and no one can guarantee its appearance.

Day 2 - Excursion to the Sami village
Gathering at the entrance to the Azimut Hotel. Please do not be late and arrive 10 minutes before the start.
Departure to an ethnic Sami village (2.5 hours on the way).
Getting to know the reindeer. You will have the opportunity to take photos and videos with these wonderful animals.
Lunch in a cozy cafe with a northern flavor. Lunch includes salmon ear and venison with a side dish. Venison can be replaced with another dish by agreement.
A walk through the kennel and a personal acquaintance with charming huskies.
Visit to the souvenir shop. You can purchase souvenirs at your discretion.
Completion of the program and return to Murmansk.
If the weather conditions are favorable, we will go hunting for the northern Lights. A total of 2 such trips are included in this tour.

Day 3 - A trip to the edge of the earth in Teriberka and a boat trip
We have breakfast and start for the Arctic village of Teriberka.
This is a journey to the very edge of the earth, then only to the North Pole.
The distance from Murmansk is 130 km, on the way we will stop in picturesque places to enjoy the amazing landscapes of the tundra.
In Teriberka, we will plunge into its special atmosphere and explore life on the edge of the world.
We will visit the famous cemetery of abandoned ships and the natural scenery for the movie "Leviathan", the throne from "Game of Thrones" and the heavenly swing.
Then we will go to the pier, where a whale-hunting boat will be waiting for us.
We will embark on an exciting sea adventure, and if luck is with us, we will see whales (humpback whales, fin whales, minke whales), dolphins, killer whales and belugas.
If sailing is impossible due to weather conditions, we will offer a replacement excursion program.
After the boat trip, we will enjoy the flavors of Arctic cuisine.
We have prepared a delicious lunch for you at a top restaurant in Teriberki – you do not need to pay anything, lunch is already included in the price of the tour.
Let's go for a walk on the outlandish Dragon Eggs beach with huge smooth stones resembling the eggs of huge animals.
We will reach the waterfall and admire the expanse and waves of the Barents Sea.
After Teriberka, we will return to Murmansk.
If the weather permits, we will go hunting for the northern Lights in the evening, in total our program provides for 2 such trips.

Day 4 - Murmansk City Tour
The hero city of Murmansk is not called the "gateway to the Arctic" for nothing.
Grandiose monuments, harsh landscapes — this amazing city offers endless possibilities for travelers.
The meeting of the guests will take place at the Azimut hotel, the coordinator will provide details about the exact time and place of the meeting the day before.
We will visit the main sights of Murmansk, first we will go to the sea station. Let's tell you the unknown facts about this place and take a walk through the main locations.
Let's see with our own eyes the Alyosha Memorial, a monument to the Defenders of the Soviet Arctic.
We will climb the Green Cape hill and enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the city.
The next stop is the memorial complex to the sailors who died in peacetime. Here you can see the wheelhouse of the Kursk submarine, the ship's anchor and the hexagonal lighthouse. It is an impressive combination of architecture and history that leaves an unforgettable impression.
After the tour, we will have a delicious lunch, this is another opportunity to enjoy a variety of natural, delicate tastes of the north, as well as socializing with fellow travelers who have already become friends.
This is our final tour.
You can plan a flight for this day after 19:00, but you won't want to leave — now the north will forever capture a part of your heart.

Offering a restaurant, Azimut Hotel is located in the center of Murmansk, right next to the Central Park and a 5-minute walk from the Central Stadium.

The rooms are decorated in bright colors and feature a minibar and a flat-screen TV with cable channels.

Blackout curtains are also provided. Each room has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries.

At Azimut Hotel you will find a 24-hour front desk and a bar. The hotel also offers conference rooms, a tour desk and luggage storage.
