Itinerary

  • Day 1 - The meeting of the group in Murmansk. Transfer to Kirovsk. Walking route to Takhtaryavr Lake

    The meeting of the group will take place in Murmansk at 08:00 (the meeting place will be announced in advance, you will get to the meeting place on your own).

    Then we are taken to the starting point of our route in Kirovsk (estimated travel time is 3 hours). 

    The walking part of the route starts from here, today we will walk 12 km to the parking place and overnight. 

    Along the way, picturesque gorges, valleys of rivers and waterfalls await us, and at the end the most picturesque mountain lake Takhtaryavr, where we will stay for the entire stay.

Hiking experience is required. The height differences are more than 1000 meters in total. Walking on the terrain "without trails" (40-50% of the route).

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour
  1. The base layer is thermal underwear (underwear) (thin running and warm for sleeping — 2 sets), you can replace the top of the running set with a sports T—shirt made of synthetic moisture-wicking fabric (try to exclude cotton).
  2. The intermediate layer is a fleece jacket, exclude wool (thin fleece jacket for movement / thick for parking).
  3. A membrane jacket or an analog (windbreaker, waterproof).
  4. Pants are windproof or made of membrane (ideal if the pants are a designer and turn into shorts).
  5. Socks — preferably trekking and / or others with similar properties (foot retention, moisture removal) — 2-3 pairs.
  6. Shoes — trekking boots, preferably high (attention! shoes must be worn out, no boots).
  7. Rubber slates for the camp (crocs/sandals and other outdoor shoes are also great).
  8. Headdress (buff trumpet, bandana, beanie, cap).
  9. Sunglasses, thin light gloves (in case of sunny weather, the most ordinary "working" cotton gloves will do).
  10. Tableware: mug, spoon, bowl, flask or water bottle.
  11. A backpack for 70-80 liters.
  12. Personal hygiene products, wet wipes, toiletries.
  13. If desired, you can take trekking poles.
  14. Swimming trunks or a swimsuit — for taking water treatments + a towel (trekking and / or waffle).
  15. Hoba (the seat).
  16. Sunscreen (30+) and burns (such as Panthenol), lip balm (for example, Panthenol for children), individual medications (if taken as prescribed by a doctor), repellent.
  17. The lantern is for hiking from the end of July.
