Registration of documents.
Next, there will be instruction on the technique of safe movement on a snowmobile, familiarization with the basic controls of a snowmobile, and warm—up of equipment.
14:00 Departure for the route.
We'll spend the first hour and a half learning how to ride a snowmobile.
We reach the snow-covered fields along the densely packed tracks.
The open areas are an ideal place to get the first skills of movement in the snowy virgin lands — turns, turns, overcoming a steep slope and digging out a snowmobile.
We analyze the main mistakes, have a short rest and set off on the main route.
Main attractions:
- Ustinya's grandmother's estate (Nizhny Selo village) is a restored wooden house that is 170 years old! Everything in the house is made as in the old days: winter sleighs, anchors, wooden wheels, sundresses, real cannonballs, antique spinning wheels, rocker arms, Russian stoves, etc.
- The village of Kamenka is one of the oldest settlements on Chusovaya and was in the 16th century the eastern outpost of the Stroganov possessions (outpost). Mysterious wooden buildings rise on the edge of the village: fortress towers and an unfinished wooden church. These are the sets for the feature film "Semyon Dezhnev", which recreate the supposed look of an ancient prison.
- The Shaitan stone is a beautiful rock (30 m high), dotted with vertical crevices. Usually, the Tatars and Bashkirs called the area with the toponym "Shaitan" (translated from Turkic: "evil spirit", "devil"), which was sacred to the Mansi people who lived here in the past.
- St. George's Church. Many consider her to be the most beautiful in the Urals. It is unusual because it stands directly on a cliff above the river. Nearby there is a wooden pedestrian bridge connecting the two parts of the village. There is a small cave in the rock under the church, which can only be accessed in winter. There are beautiful limestone cliffs in the immediate vicinity. A little downstream, on the left bank, the rocks of the "Dog Rib" rise. But perhaps the most picturesque rock in this part of Chusovaya is the St. George Stone. There was a small wooden chapel with an icon of St. George on it, which gave the name to this rock.
18:00-19:00 Return to the country club.
19:00 We arrive at the recreation center, change into dry clothes and go to the kitchen-dining room.
Hot tea on arrival and an exchange of impressions.
Next, there will be a hearty dinner and a birch wood sauna (to be paid separately).
Our guides can tell you some more interesting facts about these places.
The history of the river is closely intertwined with the stages of the development of metallurgy in the Urals, as well as with the legends and traditions of the peoples who have lived here since ancient times. Overnight at the country club.
The length of the daily snowmobile route is 50-60 km.
