Simbirsk Madam Maslenitsa. Ulyanovsk Region Tour

Simbirsk, the capital of Russia's largest province, a city of merchant dynasties and philanthropists, has always widely celebrated the holiday of farewell to winter.

The streets of the provincial town were lined with shopping malls and shops, solid profitable brick houses with basements and warehouses. People were walking merrily and fervently through the streets with jokes and old games.

But not only Simbirsk celebrated Shrovetide, but also the city of Sengiley, the pancake capital of the province, was famous for the scale of Shrovetide festivities.
