Day 1 - Ulyanovsk city tour. Museum of Simbirsk Merchants with an interactive program. The Highest Volga Crown
Maslenitsa meeting with pancakes and ditties at the railway station.
10:00 a.m. "Where there's porridge, there's ours" – breakfast.
10:30-12:30 Sightseeing bus tour of Ulyanovsk.
Ulyanovsk has a secret – it has a soul – it is old Simbirsk, which lives in the hearts of residents and peeks behind the facades of buildings made of glass and concrete, on the old streets of the city center – behind the spreading poplars.
On the tour you will drive through the modern streets and the historical center of the city, get acquainted with the history of St. Andrew the Blessed (Ogorodnikov), the patron saint of the city of Simbirsk, famous for the Russian Orthodox Church of the saint.
Visit to the Spaso-Voznesensky Cathedral.
They say that even the relics of St. Andrew the Blessed, kept in the temple, work wonders, and during his lifetime he was able to predict the future – you will hear these amazing stories on the tour.
Then the path will lead you to Moskovskaya Street, now Lenin Street, where you will be able to forget about modernity for a while, surrounded by elegant merchant mansions and charming courtyards that remain almost the same as they were two centuries ago.
12:30-14:00 Visit to the Museum of Simbirsk Merchants with an interactive program.
Can you dance a quadrille? We are sure that it is not. Here you will be taught this playful dance. You will visit a luxurious manor house, recreated on the site of the merchant shop Zharkov – famous Simbirsk patrons.
You will be invited to a rendezvous by the hospitable hostess of the house, who will introduce you to the traditions of festive receptions and merchant tea parties.
14:30-15:30 Lunch in Simbirsk traditions. You will taste dishes from the Simbirsk menu from the restaurant's brand chef.
Volga residents have always been very fond of fish dishes, which were always present during festive feasts. You will be able to taste one of the most popular.
15:30-17:00 Walking tour "Four centuries of the Volga Crown".
You will learn the secrets and legend of the city of Seven Winds, stroll along the highest Volga Crown, from which the other shore is not visible, visit the historical sites of Simbirsk and take a selfie with the largest letter E in Ulyanovsk!

"A walk through Moscow". Previously, the street was called Bolshaya Sviyazhskaya, because it served as a road to the Sviyaga River, the second largest in the city, notable for flowing in the opposite direction of the Volga.
It was along it that the captive Yemelyan Pugachev was once transported to Moscow.
The historical path along which Catherine II traveled saw the arrival in Simbirsk for the solemn laying of the Trinity Cathedral of Alexander I, as well as the "Tsar Liberator" Alexander II himself.
This tour is a godsend for connoisseurs of the history and architecture of ancient cities. Walking along several streets of the 19th century, which have preserved their original appearance, you will see museums located in the historical quarter.

Guests will get acquainted with the traditions of the townspeople, "Maslenitsa fun" games, tea drinking from an old samovar with traditional Russian treats.
12:00 Visit to the "Simbirsk Kolobok Manor".
Guests will plunge into the atmosphere of festive festivities in Mostovaya Sloboda, take part in contests, and taste pancakes from kolobok. The holiday will be full of folk amusements: games, competitions, songs and dances.
A special sight will be the traditional three-meter pole, which the bravest participants will be able to conquer for prizes.
14:30 Lunch – guests will taste the dishes of the "Gingerbread menu" created by the chefs of the restaurant chain based on traditional Simbirsk motifs. The highlight of the lunch will be the "Potato bun".
15:00 Visit to the Carnival festivities in the historical center of the city and the park "Vladimirsky Garden". The culmination of the festivities will be the burning of an effigy of Maslenitsa. It is believed that in this way fire destroys the hardships of winter, giving free rein to spring warmth and light.
Free time for shopping on the road.
19:00 Transfer to the railway station. The end of the program.
