Departure to Ostashkov.

Visit to the Nilo-Stolobenskaya desert (Nile Desert), the spiritual center of the Upper Volga region, an Orthodox monastery, on the site of which the hermit Nile settled back in 1528, bequeathed to build a monastery here.

The saint is known for healing, saving people from storms on Seliger, as well as spiritual feats — during his 27 years of hermitdom, Nil Stolbensky never went to bed, but slept leaning on two wooden hooks.

The central ensemble of the monastery attracts the most attention: the seven-headed Epiphany Cathedral (1821-1833) with a bell tower, which offers a magnificent panorama of the lake district and Stolobny Island.

A boat trip along Seliger is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the lake. The ship will pass through both a wide ples and narrow channels.

You will see three of the largest islands and several smaller ones, learn the history of these amazing places, including the Assumption Cathedral of the XVIII century. You will see a magnificent panorama of the Nilo-Stolobenskaya desert.

Excursion to the Vasilevo Museum of Wooden Architecture. The museum was established on the territory of the former manor house of the XVIII century, owned by the serving boyars of Lviv. It was here that the masterpieces of wooden architecture of the first half of the XVIII - early XIX centuries were transported from different parts of the Tver region.

During the tour:

• a walk through the picturesque territory of the ancient manor and get acquainted with its history;
• The visiting card of the museum is the "Devil's Bridge", a hundred—meter arch bridge with grottos, it is a recognized masterpiece of architectural fantasy. The most significant are the Church of the Transfiguration (the beginning of the XVIII century), the Temple of the Sign (the 40s of the XVIII century) and the chapel of Archangel Michael (the middle of the XVIII century).

Departure to Torzhok.

Sightseeing tour of Torzhok with a visit to the Borisoglebsky monastery. This is an ancient city that was founded by Novgorod merchants at the turn of the 10th-11th centuries. Its streets still preserve the spirit of pre-revolutionary Russia of the 19th century.

• the monumental Borisoglebsky Monastery, founded in 1038 by Efrem Novotorzhsky in memory of the Suzdal princes Boris and Gleb;
