Visit to the complex "Sugorye" with the interactive program "Journey to Primordial Russia".

Once upon a time, the melodious word "Sugorye" was used to refer to a part of the Belozersky principality along the Sheksna River, where settlements of Slavs and Finno-Ugrians developed, and Vikings who followed the path "from the Varangians to the Arabs" were frequent visitors.

In the program:

• getting to know the most interesting history of Belozerye;
• visit the "Princely Gridnitsa" — a chamber for feasts and receptions, where you will get acquainted with ancient Russian architecture, home decoration, costumes, jewelry and weapons from the times of Ancient Russia of the XI-XIII centuries.
• The Viking House will present an interactive way of life, famous weapons, costumes, cuisine, traditions and crafts, accompanied by the sounds of medieval Scandinavian music.

Transfer to Kirillov.

Lunch at a cafe in the city.

Visit to the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery, the pearl of the Vologda region. The monastery stands majestically and unshakably on the shores of the picturesque Siversky Lake, its white stone walls seem to completely encircle and protect the incredible beauty of the Russian North.

A tour of the monastery's territory with a visit to the exhibitions "Archimandrite and Monastic Cells" introduces the history and architectural complex of the monastery (the ensembles of the Bolshoy Uspensky and Ivanovsky monasteries, the "New City" and the territory of the unsecured fortress Ostrog between them).

Transfer to Ferapontovo village.

Ferapontov Monastery is the only monument in Russia with a complete cycle of paintings by Dionysius, preserved in its original form, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Excursion to the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin, the architectural center and the place of attraction of the monastery, inspection of the frescoes of Dionysius. It is in it that the frescoes of the end of the 15th century, executed by Dionysius with his sons Theodosius and Vladimir, have been preserved almost unchanged.

Return to Vologda.

Sightseeing tour of the beautiful Vologda, one of the oldest cities of the Russian North.

During the bus and walking tour, waiting for:

• acquaintance with the history of the founding of the city and its legends, the special roles of Ivan the Terrible and Peter the Great in its development;
• inspection of unique wooden buildings and "branded" carved palisades;
• The stone architecture of the Vologda Kremlin is the Bishop's Court and its pearl, St. Sophia Cathedral of the 16th century (external inspection), the oldest stone building in Vologda;
• Vologda river embankment, Kremlin Park, monuments to the letter "O" and K.N. Batyushkov, a bench "let's sit and drink".
