An unusual walking sightseeing tour of the historical center of Vladimir, one of the few cities of the Golden Ring, where architectural monuments from before the Mongol—Tatar conquest have been preserved:
- St. Dmitrievsky Cathedral;
- Golden Gate (under restoration);
- The masterpiece of white stone architecture is the Assumption Cathedral.
The spirit of the city is best revealed by the old city streets.
One of the most pleasant and stylish places in Vladimir is the pedestrian Georgievskaya Street, which is affectionately called "Vladimirsky Arbat".
The pedestrian zone is small, just over 300 meters, and has collected many interesting architectural monuments... a monument to a pharmacist, a customs booth, a monument to a scientist Cat, a monument to a cherry tree, and many others.
And each of them has its own legend associated with it, and each tells about the history of the city in its own way. You can feel the breath of the ancient city on every corner.
