Itinerary

Day 1 - Theatrical New Year's Eve city tour
Arrival in Novgorod (we meet the train from Moscow 07.06 №42 and St. Petersburg 10.36 №7001). Meeting with the guide at the railway station at the main entrance from the platform.
Guaranteed hotel accommodation at 14.00. Morning check-in if possible. You can leave your belongings free of charge in the luggage room of the hotel.
Breakfast.
11:30 a.m. Theatrical New Year's excursion program "Chronicles of an ancient city with a Novgorod posadnik" (posadnitsa), an animated tour of the old town with a Novgorod posadnik (posadnitsa) in historical costume.
You will visit the Ancient Torg, the Kremlin, and the Millennium Monument of Russia, St. Sophia Cathedral (1045-1050). The Russian National Relic, the miraculous icon "The Sign of the Mother of God", is kept here.
Excursion to the residence of the Novgorod lords. The Faceted Chamber is the treasury of Veliky Novgorod. Visit to the Vladyka and Crusade Chambers – jewelry art of the VI-XIX centuries.
There are more than 200 exhibits, among them there are masterpieces of world significance and all famous techniques known in medieval art are represented.
Guided tour "The history of Novgorod from ancient times to the present day": the richest world of ancient objects (handicrafts, weapons, jewelry, musical instruments, chess, children's toys, masks) dating back to the Neolithic and late Middle Ages.
The program lasts 3 hours.
Free time — preparation for the banquet.

Day 2 - Veliky Novgorod Sightseeing Tour
Late breakfast.
Sightseeing tour of the city. On the bus tour you will learn the history of Veliky Novgorod. Drive through the streets of the Sofia and Trade sides, visit the old town and the Yaroslav's Courtyard complex (ancient Torg).
There you will hear what the Novgorod veche was about, why there are so many temples on the territory of the Auction and where the princely court of Yaroslav the Wise was located.
The program is 1.5 hours.
Day 3 - Festive New Year celebrations
Breakfast.
An excursion with a visit to the Perynsky skete, the Yuriev monastery.
During the tour "To the source of the Volkhov" you will be able to admire the water surface of Ilmen Lake, see the endless northern plain, where the Rurikovo hillfort, the Perynsky hermitage, and the Church of the Savior on Nereditsa have become an integral part of the historical landscape.
Fabulous New Year's Eve – festive, New Year celebrations.
We invite you to an exciting journey through Russian fairy tales, in which you will meet the characters you have loved since childhood.
Winter games and fun with costumed fairy-tale characters will not leave anyone indifferent! You will meet Grandpa Crackler and his assistants again!

Day 4 - Staraya Russa
Breakfast.
Check-out time at the hotel is 12:00 (things in the luggage room).
Departure to Staraya Russa (103 km).
Imperial City resort — sightseeing tour of the city, visiting the Church of St. George the Victorious (15th century), where the miraculous list of the Old Russian Icon of the Mother of God (19th century) is kept.
Get acquainted with the history of strange temples, including the architectural monument of the 12th century – the Transfiguration Monastery.
Visit to the F. M. Dostoevsky house museum, where great works were created - the novel "Demons" and "The Brothers Karamazov", acquaintance with the life and work of the writer.
Walking tour of the oldest health resort in the north-west of Russia, the Staraya Russa resort, which has nine mineral springs, seven of which form mineral lakes, creating zones of increased air ionization in the resort park.
An inspection of the famous Muravyovsky fountain, which is the tallest column of mineral water in Europe, gushing from the ground.
Visit to the interactive museum "Manor of the medieval Rushanin" (for an additional fee of 350 rubles. payment on site).
Return to Veliky Novgorod. Transfer to the railway station.
