Day 1 - Theatrical New Year's excursion program around the city
Arrival in Novgorod:
06:24 Moscow train 042A or 042H.
10:17 "Swallow" from St. Petersburg 7001A or 7001.
Meeting with the guide at the railway station at the main entrance from the platform.
Guaranteed accommodation at the hotel from 14:00. Morning check-in if possible. You can leave your belongings free of charge in the luggage room of the hotel.

Theatrical New Year's excursion program "Chronicles of the ancient city with the Novgorod posadnik" (posadnitsa).
An animated tour of the old city with a Novgorod posadnik (posadnitsa) in a historical costume, you will visit: Ancient Torg, the Kremlin, inspect the Millennium Monument of Russia, St. Sophia Cathedral (1045-1050). Russian National relic is kept here – the miraculous icon "The Sign of the Mother of God".
Crossing the pedestrian bridge to the Commercial side of the city, getting acquainted with the Yaroslav's Courtyard and the ancient Trade – a complex of the most valuable architectural monuments of the XII-XVIII centuries: St. Nicholas Cathedral, Paraskeva Pyatnitsa Church, St. George Church, Myrrh-Bearer Church and the "White Arcade of Gostiny Dvor".
Free time, preparation for the banquet.

Day 2 - Festive New Year celebrations

We invite you to an exciting journey through Russian fairy tales, in which you will meet with your childhood favorite characters. Winter games and fun with costumed fairy-tale characters will not leave anyone indifferent! You will meet Grandfather Crackler and his assistants again!
Day 3 - Perynsky monastery, Yuriev Monastery, "Faceted Chamber" and antiquities
Breakfast.
"Orthodox shrines of the Novgorod land" (program 3 hours). Sightseeing tour of the city with a visit to the Perynsky monastery, Yuriev monastery.
During the tour "To the source of Volkhov" you will be able to admire the water surface of Ilmen Lake, see the endless northern plain, where the Rurikovo settlement, the Perynsky hermitage, the Church of the Savior on Nereditsa have become an integral part of the historical landscape. You will get acquainted with the history of the current St. George Monastery, the oldest monastery in the Russian North, visit the main temple of the monastery - St. George's Cathedral of the XII century.
Excursion to the residence of the Novgorod lords. The Faceted Chamber is the treasury of Veliky Novgorod. Visit to the Lord's and Cross Chambers – jewelry art of the VI-XIX centuries. There are more than 200 exhibits, among them there are masterpieces of world importance and all the famous techniques known in medieval art are presented.
Excursion "The history of Novgorod from ancient times to the present day" (program 2 hours): the richest world of ancient objects (handicraft tools, weapons, jewelry, musical instruments, chess, children's toys, masks) dating back to the Neolithic and Late Middle Ages
Day 4 - Valdai, the Bell Museum and a visit to the Valdai National Park

Departure to Valdai "Pearl of the Novgorod region" (132 km).
The excursion program "Tales and legends of the Valdai Backyard" is a visit to the only Bell Museum in Russia. The museum contains a variety of types of bells. Here, in the museum, you can not only learn the history of Valdai and the amazing Valdai bell craft, but also personally ring the famous bells. (it is possible to replace it with a visit to the Museum Bell Center).
Free time at the Teremok guest complex in the center of Valdai. You can visit the shop with traditional souvenirs and exclusive Valdai products — bells, bagels, gingerbread, local varieties of tea, mugs, plates, T-shirts, magnets with Valdai symbols.
Visit to the Valdai National Park – The architectural ensemble of the Iversky Monastery: Assumption Cathedral (1656) – the first stone building of the monastery, the Chapel of the Iversky Monastery (XIX century).
Return to the city of Novgorod. Transfer to the railway station.
