Itinerary

Day 1 - Vladimir and the folklore program, Bogolyubovo
8:45 a.m. Group meeting in Moscow at Komsomolskaya metro station, in the building of the Leningradsky railway station, in the center of the waiting room on the first floor by the elevator (sign "Russian expanses").
We are going to Vladimir, one of the largest cities of the Golden Ring of Russia, located on the high bank of the Klyazma River. The main asset of the Vladimir land is the most beautiful examples of white stone architecture included in the UNESCO list.
Excursion program: sightseeing tour, Cathedral Square ensemble.
Assumption Cathedral, Dmitrievsky Cathedral is a unique example of Russian white stone carved architecture of the 12th century.
The Golden Gate is a unique monument of military engineering and architectural art of ancient Russia, a symbol of Vladimir and the entire Golden Ring of Russia.
A walk along a pedestrian street.
Visit to the exhibition "Old Vladimir".
The exhibition recreates the daily life of the townspeople (burghers, officials, merchants) and the atmosphere of the old, provincial Vladimir.
Lunch.
Folklore program (for a group of 35 people or more).
Transfer to Bogolyubovo. Bogolyubovo was first mentioned in chronicles in 1158. Andrey Bogolyubsky founded the settlement for his residence. There is a legend that it was in this place that the prince saw the appearance of the Virgin Mary, who ordered the founding of a monastery and a city.
Excursion program: The Grand Ducal residence of Andrei Bogolyubsky, the architectural ensemble of the Bogolyubsky Monastery.
A walk to the Church of the Intercession on the Nerl (depending on weather conditions).
Return to Vladimir.

Day 2 - Suzdal and mead tasting
Breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
We are going on an excursion to Suzdal, the museum city, because there are nowhere such a number of monuments of the history of Russia, as well as ancient buildings that have survived intact and preserved, unique churches and objects of wooden architecture.
Most of the buildings in Suzdal are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. For decades, the ancient city has served as a film set for many films.
The excursion program: the architecture of the majestic Suzdal Kremlin, its construction began in the X century! The stunning Nativity Cathedral.
The Museum of Wooden Architecture is a fairy tale in a tree.
Lunch.
Mead tasting: To immerse yourself in the culture and traditions of Suzdal, you need to taste the famous local drinks.
We will give you the opportunity to visit the tasting room, decorated in the Old Russian style, and satisfy your thirst with native Russian drinks.
After the tasting, you will have the opportunity to purchase any of the varieties you like and please your loved ones with them.
Free time.
Return to Vladimir to the hotel.

Day 3 - Alexandrov, Sergiev Posad and the Russian Matryoshka Museum
Departure to Alexandrov, a city in the north-east of the Vladimir region, the oprichnina residence of Ivan the Terrible.
Outstanding architectural monuments of the Alexandrovskaya Sloboda, including the first tent church in Russia, have been preserved in Alexandrov.
Sightseeing tour of Alexandrovskaya Sloboda: acquaintance with the architectural ensemble and the unique history of the Tsar's Kremlin of Ivan the Terrible, the medieval cellars of the Assumption Church, the Crucifixion Church-bell tower (expositions: "Alexandrovskaya Sloboda XVI century. The legends were", "Alexandrovskaya Sloboda of the XVII-XVIII centuries. The Romanovs' Palace Patrimony").
Sightseeing tour of the Pervushin estate.
A tour of the interiors of the Alexandrov Pearl-the estate of the merchant of the II guild A.M. Pervushin to acquaint you with the traditions and merchant life of the XIX-XX centuries.

Transfer to Sergiev Posad.
Visit to the Russian Matryoshka Museum.

Free time for an independent visit to the Holy Trinity St. Sergius Lavra.
