Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Bus and pedestrian sightseeing tour "Vologda carved, oil, lace"
Arrival in Vologda before 09:45.
Meeting with the guide at the agreed place no earlier than 09:45.
Accommodation at the hotel in the afternoon according to the passport.
If you book an early check–in at the hotel (for an additional fee - specify the cost when booking), meet with the guide at the entrance to the hotel no earlier than 09:45.
Guests can get from the railway station to the hotel by taxi on their own.
Important! We recommend that tourists arriving by train early in the morning additionally book early hotel accommodation (price on request).
10:00-12:30 Bus and pedestrian sightseeing tour "Vologda carved, oil, lace" is an immersion into the legendary past and present of the provincial capital, acquaintance with the historical center of the city, ancient white stone cathedrals and temples, the majestic complex of the Vologda Kremlin, the picturesque embankment of the Vologda River, ensembles of wooden mansions with "carved palisades".
12:30-13:30 Visit to the shops under the brand "Real Vologda product", where you can buy the famous Vologda butter, meat and dairy products, sweets, alcoholic products from northern berries and much more.
13:30 Lunch.

13:30 Sightseeing tour of the city with a visit to the current temple of Procopius the Righteous, the first in Russia for the sake of Christ the fool, who saved the city from a stone cloud.
15:00 Excursion to the brewery "Bavaria", founded more than a century ago by Ludwig Seebalt and named after his distant homeland. Everything is possible for those who believe in success and are ready to devote their whole lives to their favorite business. Ludwig built a factory, brewed beer, observing the German "Law on the purity of brewing." And nowadays, beer "Bavaria" enjoys constant success among fans of a foamy drink and is famous far beyond the Vologda region.
16:00 Visit to souvenir shops (Severnaya Chernya, etc.) and the Barrel beer souvenir shop, recognized as the best store in Russia by the end of 2023.
17:00 Transfer to Kotlas Yuzhny railway station in Kotlas, Arkhangelsk region (70 km).
