Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Meeting in Moscow. Sergiev Posad and Pereslavl-Zalessky

    08:45 Gathering of the group in Moscow, Komsomolskaya metro station, in the building of the Leningradsky railway station, in the center of the waiting room on the first floor, by the elevator (sign "Classic Golden Ring").

    Transfer to Sergiev Posad, an ancient town located 52 km from Moscow.

    The city is known for its main attraction – the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

    A tour of the Lavra, with a visit to the temples: Assumption, Dukhovskoy, Refectory.

    Lunch.

    Transfer to Pereslavl-Zalessky.

    Prince Alexander Nevsky was born here in 1220.

    Since the XV century, Pereslavl-Zalessky has been developing as a significant craft and trade center.

    In the XV and XVI centuries, he was obliged to deliver fish to the royal court, which was reflected on the coat of arms of the city.

    In 1688, Tsar Peter I began the construction of a funny flotilla in Pereslavl-Zalessky, which was successfully completed in 1692.

    Excursion program: sightseeing tour of the city with a visit to the Red Square and St. Nicholas Monastery.
