You will visit Kostroma and Yaroslavl, see the Rostov and Suzdal Kremlins, the majestic and ancient architectural ensembles of Vladimir and Sergiev Posad, which have come down to us from the depths of the centuries. You will discover the secrets of monasteries and the traditions of peasant life.

Around the stove

During the interactive course, we will learn all about the life of a peasant family, try their household chores on ourselves and taste gingerbread cookies with tea.

The ancient monastery

We will visit the majestic Trinity-Sergius Lavra, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting in Moscow. Sergiev Posad, Pereslavl-Zalessky and Rostov the Great
07:45 Group meeting in Moscow, at exit No. 1 of Komsomolskaya metro station, to the right of Leningradsky railway station at the monument to George the Victorious (plaque "All the best in 3 days!").
Departure to Sergiev Posad– an ancient town located 52 km from Moscow.
The city is known for its main attraction, the Trinity–Sergius Lavra, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Guided tour of the Lavra, visiting temples: Assumption, Dukhovskoy, Refectory.
Lunch.
Transfer to Pereslavl-Zalessky.
In 1220, Prince Alexander Nevsky was born here. In 1688, Tsar Peter I began the construction of a funny flotilla in Pereslavl-Zalessky, which was successfully completed in 1692.
Sightseeing program: sightseeing tour of the city with a tour of the ensemble of Red Square, St. Nicholas Monastery.
Departure to Rostov Veliky.
This cozy city, in which unique historical and architectural monuments of the past centuries are located on a small square.
The city is also famous for its crafts, of which the most famous is probably the painting of enamel miniatures.
Excursion program: Rostov Kremlin – the former residence of the Metropolitan of the Rostov Diocese. An inspection of the architectural ensemble of the Kremlin.
Visit to the Zhar Ptitsa craft yard to purchase souvenirs.
Transfer to Yaroslavl, the capital of the Golden Ring of Russia.

Day 2 - Yaroslavl, Kostroma with an interactive program and Ivanovo
Breakfast.
Sightseeing program: sightseeing tour, Volga embankment, the oldest part – the arrow of the Volga and Kotorosli rivers, monument to Yaroslav the Wise– the founder of the city, Church of Elijah the Prophet.
Visit to the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery, where the famous "The Word of Igor's Regiment" was discovered.
Transfer to Kostroma.
Lunch.
Excursion program: city sightseeing tour. You will see a complex of Shopping malls, a central square, a monument to Ivan Susanin, a fire tower, and a gazebo. Ostrovsky and much more.
Excursion to Kostroma Sloboda is one of the few open–air museums where unique monuments of wooden architecture, huts and churches, have been preserved.
Interactive program "Around the stove".
The hospitable Sloboda hostess will tell her guests about the life, way of life and traditions of a peasant family.
And after that, the guests will do their own housework: they will try to grab the cast iron from the stove, iron the laundry with a "wooden iron" – a ruby, and walk with a rocker.
At the end of the program, tea with gingerbread is served for all guests.
Transfer to Ivanovo.
Sightseeing bus tour of the city.
Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 3 - Suzdal and Vladimir. Return to Moscow
Breakfast.
Moving to Suzdal is a museum city, because there are so many monuments of the history of Russia that have survived to this day in one piece.
Interestingly, there is not a single industrial enterprise in Suzdal, which makes it an environmentally friendly place.
Sightseeing program: sightseeing tour, the architecture of the majestic Suzdal Kremlin, the construction of which began in the 10th century!
The stunning Nativity Cathedral, the St. Euthymius Monastery, founded in 1350, and the Transfiguration Cathedral with frescoes by Gury Nikitin.
Transfer to Vladimir.
Lunch.
Excursion program: sightseeing tour, Cathedral Square ensemble.
Assumption Cathedral, Dmitrievsky Cathedral – an example of Russian white-stone carved architecture of the 12th century.
The Golden Gate is a unique monument of military engineering and architectural art of ancient Russia, a symbol of Vladimir and the entire Golden Ring of Russia.
A walk along the Pedestrian street.
Departure of the group to Moscow.
21:00 Approximate time of return to Moscow (excluding traffic jams).
