The road passes through picturesque forests and meadows, gradually opening up the first mountain panoramas. We will head to the legendary Fisht shelter, located at the foot of the mountain of the same name, the symbol of the Western Caucasus. We will make a radial exit to the high—altitude lake Psenodakh and finish the journey by jeeping - we will take off on an exciting two-hour trip along the mountain serpentines to the village of Solokhaul.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Reserve
Meeting at Krasnodar-1 railway station and Krasnodar Airport until 10:00.
We drive to the starting point — Yavorovaya Polyana.
From here begins our walking trip to the heart of the Caucasian Nature Reserve.
Our way lies to the shelter "Instructor's gap".
The road passes through picturesque forests and meadows, gradually opening up the first mountain panoramas.
Upon arrival, we set up the first camp, arrange our daily life.
We cook lunch together, get used to a new rhythm of life.
A quiet evening with a cup of tea, the first stories and contemplation of the incredible starry sky.

Day 2 - Storming the Oshten Giant
5:00 a.m. Wake up.
We have breakfast and prepare for the main event of the day.
6:00 Radial exit to Mount Oshten (2804 m)!
This is one of the most popular and accessible climbing routes in the area.
From the top there is a fantastic panorama of the Lago Naki plateau, Mount Fisht and the entire Main Caucasian Ridge.

14:00 Return to the camp, a late hearty lunch.
15:00 is the time for rest, recuperation and leisurely walks around the neighborhood.
18:00 Dinner.

Day 3 - To the foot of Fisht
07:00 Wake up, prepare breakfast.
09:00 We assemble the camp and set off on the route.
We will go to the legendary Fisht shelter, located at the foot of the mountain of the same name, the symbol of the Western Caucasus.
15:00 Arrival at the shelter.
We set up camp in a new place and cook lunch.
18:00 Dinner.
And after that, a long—awaited sauna (for an additional fee, by appointment).
There is nothing better to relieve fatigue after transitions and recharge your batteries.

Day 4 - Crescent Lake Day
06:00 Wake up and breakfast.
07:00 Radial exit to the high mountain lake Psenodakh.
Its unique crescent shape and crystal clear water make this place magical.
Lunch with a view of the lake and mountains.
16:00 Return to the Fisht Shelter camp.
Free time — you can relax, chat or just admire the power of Fisht Mountain.
18:00 Cooking dinner together.

Day 5 - Cherkessky Pass and Ashot's hospitality
07:00 Wake up, breakfast, camp meeting.
09:00 Departure on the route.
Our goal is the Cherkessky Pass.
13:00 Ascent to the unique mountain cafe "U Ashota".
Here we will have an incredibly delicious lunch with hot tortillas cooked right in front of your eyes.
Optional — the opportunity to plunge into a real wooden vat with hot water and a view of Fisht Mountain (extra charge).
18:00 Dinner preparation.

Day 6 - The final passage to Babuk Village
07:00 Wake up and breakfast.
09:00 Departure for the final crossing of the route.
A forest path leads us to our last campsite, Babuk Village.
15:00 Arrival, camp setting.
We are preparing a farewell dinner together, sharing our impressions of the week on the way.

Day 7 - Jeeping. Departure
09:00 Leisurely ascent and final breakfast in the mountains.
We're breaking camp.
Jeeping begins!
Using off-road vehicles, we embark on an exciting two-hour trip along the mountain serpentines to the village of Solokhaul.
In Solokhaul, we transfer to a regular bus and drive to the Dagomys bus station (Sochi).
14:00 Estimated time of arrival in Dagomys.
This is where our group splits up.
Someone goes home, and someone can continue their vacation on the Black Sea coast.

It's important to know

Even in summer, it is worth taking warm clothes, as temperature fluctuations in the mountains can be significant, especially at night.

The key principle is the layering of clothes! It is desirable that the clothes be functional, that is, one layer repels moisture, the second protects from the wind. It is important that the clothes do not cause inconvenience.

Here is a list of things that you absolutely need to take with you.:

medical insurance policy;
medications for your own needs (painkillers, sunscreens with a high protection factor, remedies for insect bites and food poisoning, as well as medications that you personally take);
light clothing (shorts, T-shirt, cap);
swimsuit, swimming trunks, rubber slippers;
windbreaker jacket, raincoat or rain cape;
shoes (hiking boots or sneakers, always with ribbed and non—slippery soles - trekking shoes);
tents;
backpacks (women's 65 l, men's 75 l);
trekking poles;
flashlight + battery pack;
KLMN (mug, spoon, bowl, knife);
sleeping bag, mats;
small backpacks up to 30 liters;
