A two-week hike through the cordons of the biosphere reserve and the natural attractions of Adygea.

We will take route No. 8, which is a picturesque and rather difficult hiking route that starts from the Rosa Khutor resort and leads to the Aishkha Pass at an altitude of about 2,400 m above sea level.

Upon arrival at the camp, we steam in a cozy sauna on the banks of a mountain river and roast kebabs. Then we will embark on a journey from Tea Mountain to the rocky giants.

We will also make an ascent to the top of the Big Thacha. A real challenge awaits us: a steep climb that requires endurance and the will to win.

Day 1 - Arrival. Introduction and briefing

15:00 UAZ pickup to the first parking lot (12 km).

Day 2 - Exit to route No. 8

The exit to route No. 8 (Rosa Khutor — Aishkha Pass) is a picturesque and rather difficult hiking route.
It starts from the Rosa Khutor resort and leads to the Aishkha Pass, located at an altitude of about 2,400 meters above sea level.
The route offers stunning views of the Caucasus Mountains, valleys, waterfalls and glaciers.
Before lunch, we will have a long climb to the Aishkha pass, 4 km long.
The climb will be 800 m.
13:00 Snack.
Then the route goes down to the cordon on the Chistaya River.
The trail passes through forests, alpine meadows, and rocky areas.
Along the way, you can see waterfalls, mountain peaks and a variety of vegetation.
19:00 Arrival at the parking lot.

Day 3 - The route from the Chistaya River to the parking lot at the 30-kilometer mark

This route passes through picturesque places, starting from the Chistaya River and ending with a parking lot at the 30-kilometer mark.
The route includes a diverse landscape, from forest trails and mountain passes to river crossings.
You will enjoy the fresh air, beautiful views, physical activity and, possibly, a meeting with wild animals.
The key points of the hike will be to overcome the distance, organize a camp and rest in the parking lot, where you can recuperate and enjoy the atmosphere of the wild nature.

Day 4 - Parking 30 km

We set off from the parking lot 30 kilometers towards the breathtaking views!
Today we will be trekking along the picturesque forest trails leading to the Umpyr cordon.
Breathe in the crystal clear mountain air, enjoy breathtaking panoramas, and feel at one with nature.

Day 5 - Umpyr cordon — 3rd company parking lot

Today we are conquering new horizons!
We start from the Umpyr cordon to get to the cozy parking lot of the 3rd company.
Exciting crossings along the mountain trail winding along the Malaya Laba River are waiting for you.
On this day, we will enjoy panoramic views of the mountain river, rocky peaks surrounded by greenery.

Day 6 - Through the vast subalpine and alpine meadows to the pass

Today we will travel from the 3rd company parking lot to the hospitable Chernorechye cordon!
13:30 Arrival at the parking lot.

Day 7 - Drop-off to Tea Mountain. A trip to the Bolshoy Thach Nature Park

Drop-off to Tea Mountain (1.5-2 hours).
11:30 Exit to the route.
Today we are going on an unforgettable journey through the Bolshoy Thach Nature Park, from Chai Mountain to the rocky giants — Acheshboks.
Enjoy a walk along the winding trails surrounded by pristine beauty: majestic cliffs, emerald valleys, endless blooming Alpine meadows.

Day 8 - From Acheshbok to Thach pass

Day 9 - Climbing the Big Thach

08:00 Ascent of Bolshoy Thach.
The climb is 350 m.
The route length is 4 km.
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure: we will storm the top of the Big Thach!

Day 10 - Khadjokh Gorge Tour
08:00 Wake up.
09:00 Breakfast.
10:00 Excursion to the Khadjokh gorge.
We assure you that you will experience an extraordinary delight from the impressions of visiting the gorge.
Here, the powerful Belaya River is tightly trapped in stone fetters.
It is impossible to tell what happens here during the spring snowmelt.
But it is better to come and see this picturesque picture for yourself and hear the voice of the river.

15:00 Departure to the Psygups geothermal spring.
19:00 Dinner.
Entrance tickets to sightseeing sites are available for an additional fee.
Day 11 - Caucasian Natural Biosphere Reserve Walking Tour
05:00 Rise.
06:00 Breakfast.
Then we drive by car to Yavorovaya Polyana.
A walking route through the Caucasian Natural Biosphere Reserve begins from here. Entrance is paid separately — from 500 rubles / day / person.
We are going to the foot of Fisht Mountain, where the tourist shelter of the same name is located.
12:00 Snack on the route.
Upon arrival, we camp overnight in tents and cook dinner.
A sauna is optional by appointment.

Day 12 - Passage along the route Fisht shelter — Belorechensky pass — Cherkessky
09:00 Breakfast.
Transfer along the route Fisht shelter — Belorechensky pass — Cherkessky.
Belorechensky Pass is located between Belorechenskaya Mountain and Fisht massif, its height above sea level is 1782 meters.
The pass divides the valleys of the Belaya and Shakhe rivers.
During the Great Patriotic War, the territory occupied by the Caucasus Nature Reserve was a key part of the German command's plans to reach the Black Sea coast to destroy the fleet.
The path to the Cherkessky pass is very picturesque, every now and then it bends around huge boulders, the height of the largest reaches 3-4 meters.
On the pass (1836 meters above sea level) there is a whole village of shepherd's houses and summer cottages.
We set up camp at the Cherkessky pass.
14:00 Lunch at a cafe in the highlands.
Where we will try local dishes made from Alpine milk.
The famous tortillas with cheese from Aunt Alla and fresh matzoni.
Bathing in a bath tub on the background of the Caucasian peaks.
Free time.
18:00 Cooking dinner together.
19:00 We are preparing to climb Mount Mavrikosh and watch the sunset there.
The crossing is 8 km.
The climb is 300 m.
Day 13 - Babuk Village
08:00 Breakfast.
Immediately after breakfast we go out to Babuk Village.
Today we are waiting for a "fun descent", which fully allows us to feel the difference in the climatic zones that we pass through on this day.
Along the way, we will see a large number of waterfalls, streams, and rivers flowing into the warm, beautiful mountain river Shakhe.
This river is of extraordinary beauty, its gently turquoise water beckons you to take a dip and cheer up.
When we get to the shelter, we settle down and cook dinner by the campfire together.
The crossing is 15 km.
Height drop of 1500m.
Day 14 - Jeeping on UAZ trucks to Solokhaul. Departure
09:00 Breakfast.
10:00 Jeeping on UAZ trucks to Solokhaul (extra charge) which will take about 2 hours.
12:00 In Solokhaule, we transfer to a regular bus (additional ticket fee) to the Dagomys bus station.
Here the group breaks up — then someone goes home, someone will continue their vacation at sea.
It is recommended to take return tickets after 17:00.

Even in summer, it is worth taking warm clothes, as temperature fluctuations in the mountains can be significant, especially at night.

It is desirable that the clothes be functional, that is, one layer repels moisture, the second protects from the wind. It is important that the clothes do not cause inconvenience.
