If you want to walk among the cedars, see the nimble chipmunks and admire new lakes every day – it's definitely worth visiting this tour! During the rest period, our tent camp will be located in one place, in the luxurious mountain village of Zamulta. There are no shifts and cooking, only rest awaits us.

Every day we will travel light to the mountain lakes and waterfalls. In this tour we will show the amazing Multin lakes, the incredible emerald lake Kuyguk, three lakes on the Red Mountain, and the Bashtalinsky Lake. And we also plan to have an observation deck with a view of the most coveted and mysterious mountain of Altai – the snow-white Belukha.

Itinerary

Day 1 - The city of Gorno-Altaysk, the Roerich Museum, the village of Zamulta
09:30-10:00 Gathering of the group in the city center and at the airport in Gorno-Altaysk.
Having gathered together, we are going to the mountains!
On the way, we will make a stop for lunch and be sure to visit the very interesting Nicholas Roerich Museum.
The museum was created in the house where Nikolai and his family stayed a long time ago.
In the museum we will see the originals of his paintings, photographs of his sons and a very interesting lady of Roerich's heart.
This museum impresses a lot of our tourists!
We will arrive at the village in the evening. The apartment where he will live during the whole tour.
The active part of the Altai tour: 440 km by minibus (about 7-8 hours); 1.5 km on foot.
Day 2 - Lower Multinskoye, Middle Multinskoye Lake and rolling Noises
The Multin Lakes are the hallmark of these places and the real treasures of Altai!
It is curious that about 43 lakes were born on the Multa River in total!
But only 3 lakes have become the most popular among tourists: Upper, Lower and Middle Multinskoye.
Let's admire two of them today!
First, we will go higher into the mountains on GAZ-66 or UAZ.
Then we'll walk a little bit – and here we are near the Lower Lake!
It's big and beautiful.
In sunny weather, the lake is blue-blue, but sometimes it can change its shade to gray or green.
We will walk along the trail along the Lower One for about an hour and go out to the Middle Lake.
This reservoir most often has a greenish and emerald color.
Although the lakes are very close, they are visually different.
And near the Middle Lake there is a rolling Noise – this is a noisy river that runs among huge stones.
Let's look at all the interesting locations here and set off on our way back.

Day 3 - Red Mountain and three mountain lakes
In addition to the Multin lakes, the lakes of the Red Mountain are very popular with tourists in this area.
They do not look at all like the Multinskys, but these reservoirs have their own mountain beauty.
Today we are going to three lakes: one is located in the forest area, and the other two lakes are higher in the mountains.
And it is the upper lakes that are the most visually interesting.
Of course, we will go up again today!
We will see a small waterfall and go out first to the second and then to the third lakes.
The reservoirs are located in karas – as if each in its own luxurious pool.
Their color is usually dark emerald.
The tracking here is pleasant, the views around are excellent, so we are sure that you will definitely like this location!

Day 4 - Filaretka Mountain
We are always curious to explore places that are close to our camp.
Today we will go to the small local Filaretka mountain.
The peak got its name thanks to the monk Filaret, who once lived in these places.
Let's climb the mountain to admire the villages of Multa and Zamult, which are simply drowned in green mountains!
And from the top we will see the valley of the Multa River and the beautiful mountain ranges – Katunsky and Terektinsky.

Day 5 - The confluence of the Akkema and Katuni rivers
The Uymon valley, where we are resting, holds many attractions.
Today we will see another one – the confluence of the Akkema and Katun rivers.
Imagine there are about 17,000 rivers in Altai.
This region is very rich in clean water and beautiful rivers.
Nature has given the rivers of Altai a variety of colors, so it is always curious to look at the confluence of rivers, as two different colors mix before your eyes.
The Akkem River originates from the Akkem glacier, which is located on Mount Belukha.
The color of the Accord is milky, with a slight greenish tinge.
It runs 36 km, and then flows into the main river of these places – Katun.
Katun, like a true mountain girl, can be changeable: in early summer she puts on a brown outfit, and closer to July she changes it to an emerald one.
We will go with you to the place where these two mountain rivers meet.
They run side by side for a while, trying to outrun each other.
And each carries its own unique color downstream!

Day 6 - Kuyguk Lake and Waterfall
To be honest, this lake is the dream of many tourists!
It is located in a stunningly picturesque gorge, and the highlight of the lake is its color.
The color of the water is incredible turquoise.
It feels like someone painted this lake with the most beautiful watercolor paints.
But, of course, you still need to get to the lake and walk.
Our journey will begin on off-road vehicles, which will take us to the Lower Multinsky Lake.
And from here we will walk along the footpath through the forest to our cherished goal.
On the way we will see the deepest Kuyguk waterfall.
Powerful, strong, foamy.
He's just a handsome guy.
Just above the waterfall is the first small lake.
From here, it remains to walk just a little bit - and we will go out to the turquoise lake Kuyguk.

Day 7 - Bashtalinsky lake. Panorama of Belukha Mountain
On some days of the Altai tour, we will strain ourselves and go to the mountains for a long time.
And today is an easier day!
The already familiar mountain transport will take us to the Bashtali plateau, which boasts the Bashtali Lake.
The lake has a very curious location – it is located in a kind of funnel, as if in the mouth of a volcano.
We'll go down to the lake and take a picture of it.
But that's not all!
Do you remember which is the most famous mountain of Altai?
Of course, of course, Mrs. Belukha.
In sunny weather, it will seem to us!
Distant, snow-white, impregnable. Beluga always attracts and attracts the gaze of tourists.

Day 8 - Return to Gorno-Altaysk
Our journey has come to an end.
We are returning to the city of Gorno-Altaysk.
16:00-17:00 Return to Gorno-Altaysk.
Active part: 440 km by minibus (about 7-8 hours).
Depending on the weather conditions, the physical condition of the participants and other factors, the route of the tour to Altai may be changed.

The route passes through forest trails, dirt roads, alpine meadows, large and small stones. Slippery soil is possible underfoot after rain. There will be a passage of small rivers over rocks along the route. The elevation difference per day is from 100 to 400 m, in one day the difference will be 700 m. Climbing up 100-400-700 m is about like climbing 35-130-230 floors.
