An excursion to the mouth of the Argut River is a unique combination of a scenic trip along the Chuisky tract and trekking to one of the most beautiful corners of Altai.

Two powerful rivers, Argut and Katun, merge at the mouth of Argut, creating a strong energetic atmosphere and fascinating mountain landscapes.

This route is ideal for those who are willing to walk about 6 km (round trip). The trail is quite comfortable, without sudden ascents and descents, which makes the tour accessible and enjoyable for most tourists.

Nature, the energy of the water and the grandeur of the mountains will give you an unforgettable experience and a sense of unity with Altai.

Transfer to the village of Chibit along the Chuisky highway with stops at the facilities.

Arrival at the tourist complex. Supper.

We start the day with breakfast in a cafe, after which the guide will give instructions on hiking techniques.

Then we'll hit the road: departure for the route. From the village of Aktash, we will turn off the Chuisky highway onto the Ulagan highway leading to the Katu-Yaryk pass (part of the way will be paved, part of the way off—road).

We will cross the pass on foot, descending into the Chulyshman valley. The descent and subsequent ascent will be carried out in compliance with safety regulations.

After the descent, we will cross the Chulyshman River and take a walking tour to the picturesque Kurkure waterfall. The path to the waterfall is easy, on flat terrain.

Regardless of the time of the year, the waterfall impresses with its beauty.

At the end of the tour, lunch at the cafe of the Katu-Yaryk tourist complex.

We will end the day with a return to the Nomad eco-complex with stops at Kidel Lake, Red Gate. Supper.

The day will start with breakfast in a cafe.

Then there will be an eviction from the rooms or a camp breakup, after which the group leaves for the route.

The first point of the program will be the Geyser Lake. It got its name due to the features of the bottom: the air outlet raises blue clay to the surface, creating unique patterns on the water, reminiscent of geysers.

After photographing the lake, the group will head to the beginning of trekking to the Kuikhtanar lakes.

An equestrian tour is provided for those who wish (for an additional fee and subject to availability of horses).

Lunch will be organized in the format of a snack on the lakes.

Next, transfer to the Kurai steppe, followed by accommodation in the Kurai Dawns tourist complex or similar, depending on the selected package.

The evening will end with dinner at a cafe.

Walking distance: 15 km.

Attention! A trail of moderate difficulty. The guide makes the decision to climb to the glacier based on your pace and endurance (climbing, altitude difference, and therefore less oxygen in the air can adversely affect your condition).

After breakfast, drive off—road vehicles to the Aktru alpine camp. A journey through the Kurai steppe with impressive views.

Climb GAZ 66 off-road and to an altitude of about 2,150 meters above sea level, then trekking to the Bolshoy Aktru glacier.

Those who wish can go on a more challenging trekking trip to the Blue Lake.

Lunch is a snack.

Return by the same road to GAZ-66, off-road descent into the Kurai steppe.

Dinner and sauna.

By car: 40 km.

Walking distance: 15 km.

A delicious breakfast is served in the cafe in the morning.

After breakfast, the rooms are evicted and the campground is closed. The group sets off along a route that includes stops at the most interesting places.

The first stop of the day will be Altai Mars, where we will take memorable photos.

Lunch at a cafe.

Return along the Chuisky highway with stops: Katun terraces, Chike-Taman pass, Seminsky Pass.

In the evening, travelers will have a farewell dinner at the restaurant of the Taezhnik eco-hotel, where they can enjoy a cozy atmosphere.

For those who travel to Novosibirsk or Barnaul, check-out is provided at 22:30 (for an additional fee) or individual check-out at a convenient time.

For those who stay for an extra night in a hotel other than the Taezhnik eco-hotel, a group delivery to the hotels located along the Chuisky Tract will be organized.

Thus, travelers will spend this day enjoying the beauties of the Chuisky tract and the monuments of nature and history, as well as taste local cuisine and enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the eco-hotel.

The program will end after dinner.
