The most striking locations of the winter Altai in one route: Katun, Chuisky tract and Lake Teletskoye.

You will enjoy the Blue lakes of the Katun River, a walk along the suspension bridge to the island of Patmos with a unique temple, a trip along the Chuisky highway with the Seminsky, Chike Taman and Ilgumen passes, and then an acquaintance with Lake Teletskoye.

The program includes skiing on the slopes of the Teletskiy resort, a cable car ride to the top of 1,386 m and a snowmobile tour to the ice edge of Lake Teletskoye.

Accommodation — in a comfortable hotel near Katun and at a cozy recreation center near Teletskoye, on the banks of the Biya River.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Blue Lakes
9:00 Gathering of the group at the airport of Gorno-Altaysk.
Meeting with the guide and getting to know the tour participants.
10:00 Breakfast at the Kedrovy Ostrov Hotel — the first acquaintance with Altai cuisine in the cozy atmosphere of a mountain hotel (extra charge).
11:00 Visit to the Blue lakes “Eyes of Katun" — a unique natural phenomenon, accessible only in the cold season.
These lakes with water of incredible turquoise color appear in autumn and winter, when the water level in Katun decreases.
In summer, they are impossible to see — they are hidden under the waters of the river.
There is a sauna on the shore of the lakes, where you can warm up after a walk in the frosty air (a visit to the sauna is paid extra).
15:00 Check—in at the hotel - accommodation in comfortable rooms with views of the snow-capped mountains, free time to relax.
19:00 The first evening together — meeting with the group in a warm and friendly atmosphere, sharing first impressions of Altai.
Evening SPA treatments or a visit to the sauna with a vat, if desired, for complete relaxation after the trip (services must be ordered in advance, paid additionally).
Day 2 - Chuisky tract
9:00 a.m. Breakfast is a satisfying start to the day before a big trip.
9:40 Departure for an excursion along the Chuisky tract — a journey along one of the most beautiful roads in the world, which is one of the TOP 10 most picturesque automobile routes on the planet.
They're waiting for us on the way:
Seminsky Pass is the first high mountain pass at an altitude of 1,717 meters with panoramic views of the snow—capped ridges.
Chike Taman Pass is a famous serpentine with breathtaking turns and viewing platforms.
The Katun terraces are amazing natural steps created by the river over the millennia.
Ilgumen rapids are the powerful rapids of the Katun River, where the river roars through the rocks, creating an impressive sight even in winter.
14:00 Ilgumen threshold is the end point of the route, the time for a photo shoot at one of the most powerful Katun rapids, which does not freeze even in severe frosts.
14:30 Departure on the way back — return along the picturesque Chuisky highway with new angles of familiar landscapes.
18:00 Return to the hotel — rest after a busy day, dinner in a warm atmosphere.
Evening — SPA treatments or a sauna to recuperate after an active day (services must be ordered in advance and paid for additionally).

Day 3 - Teletskoye Lake
8:00 Breakfast with yourself.
Transfer to Gorno-Altaysk and Lake Teletskoye.
12:00 Arrival at Lake Teletskoye.
Climbing to the top of the mountain (payment separately), sightseeing tour, group photo session.
Next, all those who have brought or rented equipment, go for a ride.
Everyone else is walking, enjoying the views, chatting in a cafe over a cup of taiga tea or mulled wine.
14:00 Lunch at a cafe on the second level, where you can taste delicious manti from maral (not included in the price).
17:00 Arrival at the store and check-in at the hotel.

Day 4 - Teletskiy's Ice
9:00-10:00 Breakfast in the hotel cafe.
10:00 Departure to the Teletskiy ski resort.
Skiing, snowboarding (rental is not included in the price).
Those who do not ride have the opportunity to go on a snowmobile tour, to the Edge of the ice, to a place where the lake never freezes, to take unforgettable pictures! (paid separately, optional).
The cost is 4,900 rubles/person. The tour time is 3-4 hours.
19:00 Dinner together at the hotel cafe, Christmas celebration (not included in the price).
Day 5 - Tilan-Tuu
9-10:00 a.m. Breakfast.
11:00 Departure with things.
Waterfall of the Third river.
Walk along the ECO-trail to the frozen waterfall.
12:00 Then we go on an excursion to the observation deck of Tilan-Tuu Mountain, which the locals call Snake Mountain, and find out why from the guide.
After the tour, lunch (not included in the price) and departure home.
