Itinerary

Day 1 - Horseback riding to the observation deck
Meeting in the village of Elekmonar.
Settling into an eco-house.
A study tour on horseback – the exit is scheduled for 12:00.
We will meet in the village of Elekmonar before lunch, check into a village guest house and, having refreshed ourselves, take the first introductory horseback ride along the village of Elekmonar, and then deep into the mountains to the observation deck, which offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, the Barantal plateau, the mouth of the Elekmonar River and the prospect of the winding Katun River.
After a tea party by the campfire – photo-time.
Having soaked up enough of the sun's rays and magical views, we set off on our way back along a horse-drawn path full of maralnik flowers.
We will spend the evening getting to know each other in the national Altai dwelling village.

Day 2 - Horseback riding to the Kinderlin Cave and the ancient lighthouse
Horseback riding to the Kinderlin cave.
The path runs through a bridge on the Katun River, which has a local landmark – Dragon's Teeth.
The closer to the goal, the steeper the climb!
It is difficult to ride up to the cave itself, so we leave the horses and cover the last 300 meters on foot.
The view of the cave is no less impressive than the overview of the Katuni valley, and climbing to the top of the mountain, where there is an ancient lighthouse (the index of the highest peak in the area).
You will be able to see the edge of a warm May spring and a cold winter along the blooming slopes of mountains and clearings at your feet and snow-capped peaks stretching beyond the horizon.

Day 3 - Blue lakes of Altai
Wake up at 8 a.m., have breakfast and get in the saddle!
It is necessary to arrive at the lakes by the time the sun's rays reach the water surface, it is at this moment that the lakes acquire their extraordinarily fabulous color and appear before us in full glory!
We have lunch by the campfire on the shore of one of the lakes.
Those who wish can plunge into the emerald waters, feel the cheerfulness of the spirit.
By the way, during the May holidays there is an extreme opportunity to see the blue lakes of Altai. Further, due to high water, the Katun River will hide them with its waters.
If, however, the weather is not so favorable or Katun has already closed its lake eyes, there is an opportunity to go on a circular horseback ride through the peaks of Elekmonar, see herds of horses and walk through the mowing lands along the Sulda or Kuyum mountain rivers.
The evening is again declared a sauna, because after such an active day it's so nice to steam!

Day 4 - Car tour along the Chui highway. The confluence of Chuya and Katuni. Geyser Lake
The Chuisky tract is one of the most beautiful roads in the world.
Two beautiful passes — Seminsky and Chek-Taman, as well as the confluence of the Katun and Chuya rivers, the Katun terraces, the Kurai steppe, the North Chuisky ridge with its peak Aktr u and much more will be on our way.
The highlight of the tour will be a walking tour to Lake Meny, a milky blue geyser lake.
Length: by car 700 km. Elevation difference: from 300 to 2000 m above sea level.
Anyone traveling through Novosibirsk and in a hurry can leave at 9.30 pm on the evening of the 4th day on the Novosibirsk bus (tickets independently).

Day 5 - Departure
6:30 - 07:00 Transfer to Gorno-Altaysk airport.
A minibus will pick you up in the morning and take you to the airport in Gorno-Altaysk.
If you are not on your way, we will help you take a bus to Novosibirsk or Barnaul.
It's time to say goodbye, but only to meet again, friends!

The weather conditions in the areas of the routes are very diverse. The air temperature can range from +10 to +35 degrees. Frequent and rapid changes in weather conditions are possible.

In the conditions of hiking in mountainous terrain, it is quite easy to control a horse. In the column, the horses move independently one after the other. This is a familiar thing for them, they know the trails well. The task of the rider is only:

keep a distance between the horses (not too far and not too close);
in some cases, while riding a horse, push off with your hand from tree trunks and protect your head from low branches;
do not let the horse eat grass all the time (to do this, pull the reins and lift the horse's head);
Don't drive through the bushes;
strictly follow the path chosen by the instructor and do not enter dangerous places: steep slopes, deep places of rivers;
don't let the horse jump off the rocks.
A horse is a big and powerful animal. Make sure she doesn't accidentally step on your foot.
You CAN'T approach the horse from BEHIND! Our horses are calm, but still they are HORSES :) They can get scared and kick you.
After making a planned or forced stop on the way, do not let go of the horse. You need to tie it down or ask an instructor/ friend to hold it.
Altai horses should be tied not by a leash, but by a special rope. The chamberlain is also used to urge on a horse or lead it "by the reins".
It is very important to keep the distance between the horses and keep up.
The distance should be 2-3 meters. This distance between the riders allows you to save the time of the transition, not to stray from the path chosen by the instructor, and to conserve the strength of the horses.
If you realize that you are lagging behind, the horse needs to be adjusted. To do this, use a chamberlain - this is normal, the horse will not be hurt.
During the transition, keep an eye on your feelings. If you feel that the saddle is "leaving" to the left / right / forward / backward, immediately inform the instructor.
Keep an eye on the condition of the horse – legs (lameness), back (bumps, abrasions). If you see something, inform the instructor.
A horse is your best friend, companion and brother during a hike. Try to establish contact with her. So that you trust each other and there is mutual understanding between you – talk to the horse, praise, stroke, etc. It is well known that such attention is very pleasant for a horse! :)

By train or plane to Novosibirsk/Barnaul/Gorno-Altaisk.
Then by bus (Novosibirsk/Barnaul/ Gorno-Altaysk – Chemal) to the settlement of Elekmonar (7 km. before reaching the village of Chemal).

VIA GORNO-ALTAYSK

Step 1. Go to any convenient website for you to purchase air tickets and buy tickets in the direction of Gorno-Altaysk (we will help you choose air tickets in advance).

Step 2. You arrive in Gorno-Altaysk and call the organizers and within 5 minutes you will be met at the entrance to the airport.

The cost of the transfer from Gorno-Altaysk to the village of Elekmonar and back is already included in the price of the tour.

Step 3. An hour later you are already in a cozy guest house drinking seagulls and getting ready for the trip.

If unforeseen circumstances occur (flight delay, bus breakdown on the road, late arrival for a scheduled flight) – call the organizer. We will not leave anyone, we will wait for everyone and try to help as much as possible. The main thing is to keep us informed of your "adventures"!

VIA BARNAUL (non-stop)

Step 1. By air or railway transport you get to Barnaul.

Step 2. Take a minibus from the airport to the bus station. The bus station in the city of Barnaul is located on the same square with the railway station.

Step 3. Purchase a bus / minibus ticket following the route: Barnaul – Chemal (~ 1300 rubles).

Step 4. The road from Barnaul to Elekmonar takes approximately 4.5 hours. When the bus/minibus arrives in the village of Maima, which borders the city of Gorno-Altaysk (where the mountainous area begins), call the organizer and inform your location.

Step 5. After driving for another hour and a half, inform the bus driver

A minibus message that you need to get off at the village of Elekmonar at the Shershnevka stop! The black and orange building of the Paleopark, which will be located on the left along the bus, serves as a guideline that you will leave in 5 minutes.

Step 6. Get off the bus and call the organizer at one of the above numbers.

Step 7. You will be met within 5 minutes.

If unforeseen circumstances occur (flight delay, bus breakdown on the road, late arrival for a scheduled flight), call the organizer. We will not leave anyone, we will wait for everyone and try to help as much as possible. The main thing is to keep us informed of your "adventures"!

VIA BARNAUL (with transfer to Gorno-Altaisk)

Step 1. By air or railway transport you get to Barnaul.

Step 2. Take a minibus from the airport to the bus station. The bus station in the city of Barnaul is located on the same square with the railway station.

Step 3. Purchase a bus / minibus ticket following the route: Barnaul – Gorno-Altaysk (~ 650 rubles).

Step 4. At the Gorno-Altaisk railway station, purchase a ticket for a regular bus / take a taxi / take a minibus to the village of Chemal (~ 400 rubles.)

Step 5. As soon as you leave the bus station, call the organizer +7(925)700-03-02 or +7(966)095-03-02 and inform them that you have left.

Step 6. After driving for another hour and a half, inform the bus driver

Step 2. From the airport, take a shuttle bus to the railway station. The branch of the bus station is located on the forecourt near the railway station.

Step 3. Purchase a ticket for the bus following the route: Novosibirsk – Chemal (~ 2200 rubles).

Step 4. The journey from Novosibirsk to Elekmonar takes approximately 9 hours. When the bus arrives in Gorno-Altaisk (the mountainous area begins there), call the organizers and inform them of your location.

Step 5. After driving for another hour and a half, inform the bus / minibus driver that you need to get off in the Electric car at the Shershnevka stop! The black and orange building of the Paleopark, which will be located on the left along the bus, serves as a guideline that you will leave in 5 minutes.
