Itinerary

Day 1 - Cherapan Mountain Walking Tour
Guests can get to their accommodation on their own.
If you arrive at the airport of Gorno-Altaysk and plan to stay at the Taezhnik eco-hotel, we can arrange individual delivery for you for an additional fee, and everyone arriving at the airport can use the services of Yandex taxi, taxi Maxim.
For guests staying in the Taezhnik eco-hotel, a walking tour to Mount Cherapan will be organized after 15:00, at the foot of which the Taezhnik eco-hotel is located.
You can have lunch and dinner according to the restaurant's menu, or barbecue on the mangalas located on site.

Day 2 - Horseback riding and rafting
For those staying at the eco-hotel “Taezhnik” breakfast is from 8:30 to 9:00.
The starting point of the program is the Taezhnik eco–hotel, and guests from nearby hotels (Lyubava, Manzherok Shopping center, Manzherok Park Hotel) will be organized at the hotel by 9 a.m.
The rest need to get there by themselves by this time.
You can use the services of Yandex.taxi, or we can order a taxi for you from the hotel.
You can park your car in the parking lot of the eco-hotel “Taezhnik".
After breakfast, we go for a horse ride.
Safety briefing.
The distribution of horses.
Horse riding lasting 1 hour.
Return to the territory of the eco-hotel.
Getting to know the water guides.
Selection of equipment.
Transfer to the starting point of the rafting at the new Seminsky bridge, where all the band members will arrive.
Safety briefing on the water tour.
Lunch in the form of a snack on the river bank.
Exit to the route.
Passage of the Seminsky rapids (2 cat. difficulties), Muninsky (2 cat. difficulties), Manzheroksky (2 cat. difficulties), during the rafting the guests will visit Kamyshlinsky waterfall.
The rafting will end in front of the Taezhnik eco-hotel.
You can have dinner according to the restaurant menu.
Guests staying on the territory of the Taiga receive lunch boxes for Sunday.

Day 3 - Rafting/trekking to Karakol Lakes
The main starting point of the program is the Taezhnik eco–hotel, departure time is 07:30, by which time guests who have chosen accommodation in hotels located from Gorno-Altaysk to Manzherok village, as well as in the village of It is necessary to arrive at the main launch site on your own.
You can use the services of Yandex.taxi, or we can order a taxi for you from the hotel.
You can park your car in the parking lot of the eco-hotel Taezhnik.
We will pick up those guests who have chosen a hotel along the Chuisky and Chemalsky tracts between the villages of Manzherok and Elekmanar on the way.
If you live on the territory of Turquoise Katun, you need to cross the bridge to the Altai Republic.
An additional place to start the program is the Manas cafe, Elekmanar village, where you need to arrive by 8 a.m. on your own.
In the village of Elekmanar, the group transfers to UAZ trucks and goes off–road to one of the most popular places in the Altai Mountains - a chain of seven Karakol lakes.
Cars will take you to the third lake, from where you will have to take a walking tour along the chain of lakes to Lake 5-7, depending on the weather conditions and the physical condition of the group.
Lunch in the form of a snack on the lake shore.
Off-road return to the mouth of the Kuyum River, where a bus will be waiting to take you back to where you picked up in the morning.

The cost of the tour for 1 person with accommodation in the eco-hotel "Taezhnik" based on breakfast (2 nights, 2 breakfasts):

This program, or its components, can be purchased individually on any day of the week, for any number of participants, the cost is calculated individually!

The cost of the tour for 1 person without accommodation and breakfast is 21,500 rubles.

The start of the trip was slightly marred by a last-minute change to the tour itinerary, literally the day before departure. It wasn’t a major issue, especially since this was our first visit to Altai. Still, I would have preferred to receive exactly what was outlined in the original agreement.

I had contact with only a few people during the organization process: the Big Country guides and the managers. I have no complaints about the local guides — they were young, cheerful, and did a fantastic job. However, on the part of Big Country, there were significant delays in responding to questions (sometimes 1–2 days). Fortunately, this didn’t have a major impact on the trip itself, but next time it could become an issue... please work on improving your response time.
