Itinerary

Day 1 - Getting to know the Manzherok resort
Check-in.
Breakfast at the Taezhnik cafe for those who arrived before 10:00.
After 10:30-11:30 – fitting of pre-ordered equipment at the hotel.
At 11:00 departure for an introductory skiing trip to VK Manzherok.
At 14:00 return to the hotel, check into the rooms.
Lunch and dinner are served in the a la carte restaurant of the eco-hotel Taezhnik (not included in the price).
Accommodation in rooms.
Free time, rest.
Depending on the start time of the evening trails, VK Manzherok offers a transfer service for those who want to try night skiing.
The Manzherok All–season resort is the largest year-round resort in the Altai Republic.
The ski complex is unique in its location at the foot of Malaya Sinyukha Mountain and the only warm lake in the Altai Republic, Manzheroksky.
The total length of the trails, of various difficulty categories, is about 50 km, and 5 cable cars operate for guests of the resort, which will take winter sports enthusiasts to the beginning of the trails.
You can rent equipment both at the resort and order its delivery to the Taezhnik eco-hotel, which is much more convenient.
For beginners who decide to try their hand at skiing or snowboarding, the resort has certified instructors who will teach you the basics.
Children will also not be ignored.
The resort has instructors who will train them, and there is also a tubing track where young guests of the ski complex will not be bored.

Day 2 - GLK "Manzherok"
Breakfast in the cafe of the eco-hotel “Taezhnik".
Departure to Manzherok resort at 10:00, return to the hotel is scheduled at 16:00-17:00, according to the schedule of the cable cars.
Those who wish can go for evening skiing, the rest can spend the evening on site.
Today, the group will devote the whole day to active recreation: snowboarding, snowmobiling, skiing and tubing.
You can have lunch at various catering establishments located on the territory of the resort (not included in the price).
After an active day, guests return to the tourist complex, and you can have a la carte dinner at the restaurant of the eco-hotel “Taezhnik” (not included in the price).

Day 3 - GLK "Teletskiy"
Guests receive breakfast the day before, in the form of lunch boxes.
Departure from the eco-hotel “Taezhnik" at 07:00.
Transfer to the village of Iogach by 11:00.
Riding on the GLK “Teletsky”, located on the slopes of Mount Kokuya.
You can have lunch at the cafe at the foot of Mount Kokuya, or at the cafe at its top (not included in the price).
The Teletskiy Ski Resort is located in the immediate vicinity of the largest in Gorny Altai and one of the deepest lakes in the world – Lake Teletskoye, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Mount Kokuya is a unique place for a ski resort. A large mountain range with an altitude difference of more than 800 meters allows you to build trails up to 6 km long.
The total length of the existing trails is about 17 km.
The end of the ride and departure to the hotel at 16:00, arrival approximately at 20:00.
Dinner is served a la carte in the restaurant of the eco-hotel “Taezhnik” (not included in the price).

Day 4 - Chuisky tract: the Seminsky and Chike-Taman passes, the confluence of Chuya and Katuni
Breakfast at the eco-hotel “Taezhnik".
Departure for an excursion along the Chuya tract to the confluence of the Chuya and Katun rivers.
The first stop of the day will be the Seminsky Pass (1717 meters high), where another ski complex, Seminsky, is located.
No skiing is planned at this complex.
Tour of the pass, visit to the souvenir market.
If you want to try out the possibilities of the trails of the Middle mountains, you will be taken to the lift and left to ride, the rest will go on an excursion to the confluence of the Chuya and Katun rivers, and they will pick you up on the way back.
The next stop is the Chike Taman pass, an excursion to the observation deck overlooking the old Chuisky tract.
The furthest point of the route will be the place where the Chuya River, which is stormy in summer, flows into the mistress of Altai, the Katun River.
As a rule, rivers do not freeze completely and guests of winter Altai will be able to admire the bright turquoise sections of the river against the background of sparkling white snow.
Return to the hotel.
Lunch at a cafe on the way, according to the menu. Dinner is served a la carte in the restaurant of the eco-hotel “Taezhnik” (lunch and dinner are not included in the price).

Day 5 - Belokurikha Resort
Breakfast at the eco-hotel Taezhnik.
Transfer to the city of Belokurikha.
Belokurikha is the only resort of federal importance in the Siberian Federal District.
This resort is famous for its balneological resources and ski resort.
The Belokurikha ski complex is divided into several districts.
Guests of the city will be able to use the following services: a network of ski trails, 5 cable lifts and 1 chairlift, rental points, service and repair of equipment.
Lunch at a cafe in the resort (not included in the price).
Return to the eco-hotel “Taezhnik".
By car 360 km.
Day 6 - Departure
For those who leave for the airport before 08:30 – breakfast in the form of lunch boxes, the rest is the usual.
Departure to the airport.
Check-out from rooms before 12:00.

It's important to know

documents (passport and MHI policy);
underwear (comfortable, preferably cotton) and thermal underwear (warm, multi-layered);
woolen and synthetic WARM socks (several pairs);

The start of the trip was slightly marred by a last-minute change to the tour itinerary, literally the day before departure. It wasn’t a major issue, especially since this was our first visit to Altai. Still, I would have preferred to receive exactly what was outlined in the original agreement.

I had contact with only a few people during the organization process: the Big Country guides and the managers. I have no complaints about the local guides — they were young, cheerful, and did a fantastic job. However, on the part of Big Country, there were significant delays in responding to questions (sometimes 1–2 days). Fortunately, this didn’t have a major impact on the trip itself, but next time it could become an issue... please work on improving your response time.
