Itinerary

Day 1 - Novosibirsk – Barnaul – Biysk – Gorno-Altaysk – Chibit
We will meet you in the arrival city and begin the journey.
In Biysk, you will get acquainted with the guide and arrange the documents necessary for the trip.
Next, we begin our journey along the most beautiful highway in the country – the Chuisky highway.
In a few hours we get to the highest point of the highway – the Seminsky pass.
Then we cross the Chike Taman pass.
We will make a stop at the confluence of the Chuya and Katun rivers, which is revered by the Altaians as a sacred place.
We will visit the archaeological complex of Adyr-Kan.
We stay overnight at a recreation center in the Chibita area. Accommodation in cabins.
Auto (from Barnaul to Chibit): 620 km. On the road, excluding traffic jams and sanitary stops, 9-10 hours. Walking distance: 2 km (1.5 – 2 hours).
Day 2 - Kurai Steppe – Altai Mars – Kosh-Agach – Geyser Lake
At the beginning of the day, we drive to the Kurai steppe to enjoy the views of the North Chuya range.
Then we leave for the village of Chagan-Uzun, where we transfer to off-road vehicles and go to the Kyzyl-Chin tract (Altai Mars).
We have lunch scheduled in the village of Kosh-Agach. We will drive through the picturesque Chuya steppe to the village of Kosh-Agach.
On the way back we make a stop at Geyser Lake. The lake is unique and has its own fragile ecosystem, it does not freeze in winter.
Return to the recreation center. Bathhouse.
By car: 240 km (5 hours). Walking distance: 3-4 km (2-3 hours).
Day 3 - Red Gate – Pazyryk mounds – Katu-Yaryk – Kurkure Waterfall
In the morning we drive to the Chulyshman River, stopping at the Red Gate and Cheybekkel Lake on the way.
Then we enjoy the view of the Ulagan Lakes, which are located on the Ulagan highlands.
We are going to the Pazyryk mounds, which have existed since the 6th-7th centuries BC. In ancient times, they were erected over the graves of noble people.
Then we go to the Katu-Yaryk pass. We descend from the pass on foot. After descending from the pass and resting for a while, we will take a short hike to one of the most powerful waterfalls in the valley - Kurkure.
In the evening we arrive at the tourist base. Accommodation in cabins.
By car: 140 km (5-6 hours). Walking distance: 7-8 km (3-4 hours).

Day 4 - Excursion to the "Stone mushrooms"
In the morning we cross the Chulyshman River and go to the Stone Mushrooms. Stone mushrooms are a unique natural phenomenon created by nature itself. For many years, rocks have been weathered and washed away, forming bizarre structures.
Then we cross the river back and have lunch at the tourist base.
After lunch – rest at the base, walking in the surroundings, sauna.
In the evening, we will have a concert by kaichi, which will tell us about the peculiarities of national musical instruments and throat singing (not included in the price).
Walking distance: 2-3 km (3-4 hours).
Day 5 - Teletskoye Lake – Korbu Waterfall – Artybash village
The day will start with a short drive to Lake Teletskoye. In Altai, the lake is called Altyn-Kel – “Golden Lake". The lake has a special atmosphere that you can feel while walking through the entire lake area on a boat. During the walk, we will make a stop for an excursion at the Korbu waterfall.
Upon arrival in the village of Artybash, we are accommodated at the recreation center in cabins.
By car to Teletskoye Lake: 40 km (1.5-2 hours). Boat: 78 km (2-2.5 hours). Walking distance: 1 km (30 min).
Day 6 - Rafting on the Biya River – Observation deck on Mount Kokuya
A day of rest on Lake Teletskoye.
We will also enjoy a simple rafting trip along the Biya River (for 2-3 hours) and a chairlift up Mount Kokuya, which offers stunning views of the Pryteletsky taiga.

Day 7 - Artybash – Gorno-Altaisk – A. V. Anokhin Museum of Local Lore – Barnaul – Novosibirsk
We're heading back.
In Gorno-Altaisk, we will visit the Anokhin National Museum of the Altai Republic.
Transfer to Gorno-Altaysk, Biysk, Barnaul, Novosibirsk, on the way we stop at the souvenir market.
From Artybash to Barnaul: 430 km. On the road, excluding traffic jams and sanitary stops, 7-8 hours.

The Nomad Eco-Tourist complex is located in the Ulagan district of the Altai Republic, 2 km from the village of Chibit, at the confluence of the Chuya and Chibitka mountain rivers. At 10 min. There is a grocery store within walking distance from the base in the village of Chibit. If necessary, there is a convenience store 15 km away in the village of Aktash. It is possible to order a taxi.

On the territory of the recreation center "Nomad" you will find everything you need for recreation and even more! 300 meters of the coastal zone is equipped for safe swimming and active water activities.

You can also visit a paintball club, a wellness complex, use a tennis court, a football field and basketball and volleyball courts. The base is divided into 3 zones: a sanatorium, a cottage village and a campsite. On paved paths, you can ride a longboard or roller skates, and forest paths are suitable for cycling.
