Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Group meeting, transfer to Teletskoye Lake

Today we are waiting for a trip to the pearl of Gorny Altai – Lake Teletskoye.

Part of the route will pass along the Chuya highway, where you can see the traces left by the most ancient civilizations.

In the past centuries, caravans with cargoes from Asia to Europe passed through here.

In the village of Maima, we will turn off the Chuisky highway towards Lake Teletskoye, passing through the capital of the Altai Republic, Gorno-Altaysk.

Then the road goes through the watershed of the Biya and Katuni rivers.

After crossing several passes, we will descend to the Biya River.

The largest river in the Ob region originates from the confluence of the Katun and Biya.

Continuing along the Biya, you can reach Lake Teletskoye, the final destination of the trip.

There are many mysteries, riddles, and myths of Altai connected with Lake Teletskoye.

It is believed that a traveler who visited Altai, but did not see Lake Teletskoye, did not see anything.

We stay at the recreation center for the night, in the area of Artybash village (Teletskoye Lake).

By car (from Biysk): 280 km. On the road, excluding traffic jams and sanitary stops, 5-6 hours.

  • Day 2 - Teletskoye Lake boat tour
  • Day 3 - Artybash – motor rafting – Kamyshlinsky waterfall – Chemal
  • Day 4 - Chemal – Chechkysh Gorge – Oroktoy bridge – Beltertuyuk Waterfall – Chemal
