Itinerary

Day 1 - The city of Gorno-Altaysk is a settlement. Ground
09:30 local time (Moscow time + 4 hours) – gathering of the group near the Igman hotel (Gorno-Altaysk city center).
10:00 Gathering of the group at the airport of Gorno-Altaysk.
Today we will move to the mountainous part of Altai (350 km, about 6-7 hours on the way).
On the way, we will visit the curious Ust-Kansk cave, which is located in a rocky massif with the beautiful name White Stone.
A long staircase leads to the cave.
This means that the cave has a great view of the surrounding area!
In addition, this location is valuable because it is the first site of ancient people discovered in Northern Asia.
Arrival in the village of Zamulta, accommodation at the campsite.

Day 2 - Krasnaya Gora and three mountain lakes
Altai nature knows how to create lakes that are very different from each other.
And today you will see it!
All-terrain vehicles will take us to the Red Mountain that day.
The mountain is rich in manganese and iron, which is why it got its name.
The mountain is also rich in lakes, and today we will see three local reservoirs.
In the Cartoon, we saw lakes surrounded by dense forests.
Here, the landscape will be completely different!
Around the second and third lakes there will be Altai meadows, low grass and colorful flowers.
Two lakes lie each in its own square, a deep depression in the landscape of the mountains.
The lakes are beautiful, emerald, and they are connected by a small stream with a waterfall.
The active part of the Altai tour: travel by GAZ-66 (about 3 hours one way).
5.5 km on foot, altitude difference 1910-2350 m, trekking duration 4-5 hours.

Day 3 - Lower and Middle Multin lakes, trekking on rolling Noise
In the morning, mountain transport will take us higher into the mountains, to the Lower Multinsky Lake.
Check-in at the tourist complex from 13:00.
Civilization, hustle, shops and noisy roads are far behind us.
In the coming days, we will enjoy enjoying the unspoiled beauty of the Altai mountains and lakes.
After arrival, we immediately go for a walk!
We go out to the shore of the lower Multinskoye lake – and it immediately takes your breath away!
The reservoir is huge, snow–capped mountains are visible in the distance, and endless cedar forests are around as far as the eye can see!
We will walk along the forest path along the lower lake and come out to the middle Multinsky lake.
Between the lakes, nature has created a picturesque rolling of water among huge stones – Noises.
Let's take a picture of this unusual place and set off on our way back.

Day 4 - Kuyguk Lake and Waterfall
The valley of the Kuyguk River will delight us not only with its magnificent emerald lake, but also with its spectacular waterfall!
The rivers of Altai are very stormy and full-flowing.
That is why stunning waterfalls are born here.
The height of our waterfall is about 30 meters, and standing next to it, you can fully feel the power of the water.
Rising above the waterfall, we will see the first, small pond.
After walking a little more, we will find ourselves on the shore of Lake Kuyguk.
As soon as you approach its shore, your breath stops!
In front of you is a huge, emerald lake, which is guarded by snowy mountains.
There is silence all around, and occasionally birds soar.
It is at such moments that you want to stop time, sit and admire such beauty.
We'll have lunch and a big rest stop near the lake.

Day 5 - Transverse Lake
There is a hike to the Transverse Lake ahead.
We will cross 2 reservoirs by boat, then on foot.
The trail will take us through cedar forests and alpine meadows.
It's so unusual, but there are practically no climbs!
For the entire track, we will gain only 300 m vertically.
Along the way we will see a Transverse waterfall, and after it we will walk a little and the lake will open in front of us.
No, it's not like that!
An incredible lake will open!
At this moment, you can't even check with your eyes!
The valley is decorated with mountains with glaciers, at the foot of which there is a huge lake.
On its shore in July, watersheds, mountaineers and such rare, fiery roasts bloom!
Not a single photo will convey this amazing beauty!
In this place, you will finally and irrevocably fall in love with Altai.

Day 6 - The day
By popular request of our guests, there will be a day party on this day.
Trekking trips in this area are very long and there is always not enough time to just sit and enjoy the Multin lakes.
On this day you will have such an opportunity!
You can take a leisurely walk near the lakes or even go horseback riding.

Day 7 - Observation deck overlooking the Multin Lakes
Let's go take a bird's-eye view of our lakes!
From here we can see the Lower and Middle Multin Lakes, the valley of the Krepkaya River and neighboring valleys.
In addition, we will take a look over the ridge, beyond which opens another endless valley of Altai!
Interestingly, in this valley, the green backs of the mountain ranges are overgrown with dark cedars and look like the ridges of huge dinosaurs!
Very unusual.
The observation mountain is a unique point.
You climb higher and higher, and the Altai Mountains seem to rise in front of you!
It's definitely worth going here.
In the evening, transfer to the base in the village of Zamulta.

Day 8 - Transfer to Gorno-Altaysk
Today we are going to have a long trip to Gorno-Altaysk.
On the way, we will make a stop at the Seminsky pass and take a walk through the souvenir market.
The Altai market will delight with delicious honey, teas, wooden magnets and delicious jam.
18:00-19:00 Arrival in Gorno-Altaysk.

The route is trekking and involves walking through mountainous (rough) terrain. The route passes through forest trails, dirt roads, alpine meadows, large and small stones. The ground may be slippery after rain. The route will cross small rivers over rocks. The elevation difference per day is 100 m on one day, and from 400 to 700 m on the other days. Climbing 400-700 m is about the same as climbing 130-230 floors.

It's important to know

passport / birth certificate of the child. It is mandatory to have the original documents (not a copy);

fleece. In autumn, we recommend taking 2 fleece coats: one for walking on the route (it gets a hiking smell quickly enough), the second clean and fresh fleece for walking in the hotel;
