Day 1 - Taezhnik Tourist Complex — Cherepan Mountain
Check-in at the Taezhnik eco-hotel.
For those who have chosen Gorno-Altaysk, the capital of our Republic, as their arrival city, there is a meeting at the airport (group transfer, for an additional fee).you can order an individual fee, or use taxi services).
Breakfast in the restaurant of the eco-hotel Taezhnik for those who arrive before 10:45.
Check-in to yurts located on the territory of the Taezhnik eco-hotel for 2-3 people, shower and toilet on site (single-bed accommodation in yurts is not provided).
For an additional fee, you can stay in the rooms of the eco-hotel Taezhnik, upon their availability.
Gathering of the group, including those who arrived after 11:00.

Day 2 - Water-powered tour of Lake Teletskoye. Excursion to the Korbu waterfall. Stone mushrooms
Early rise.
Departure from the territory of the eco-hotel "Taezhnik" at about 07:30 in the morning.
Breakfast at a cafe on the way.
Transfer to Artybash village along the Teletskoye highway.
A few years ago, the road began to be repaired, and now most of the way is solid new asphalt.
The road to the lake, on the shore of which the village of Arbytash is located, is picturesque, like most roads in Altai.
Here you can admire the streams, the taiga, the mountain ranges, and the blooming valleys.
At the pier in Artybash, the group transfers to a boat that will take tourists to the southern shore of Lake Teletskoye.
The lake is one of the main attractions of the Altai Mountains, second only to Lake Baikal in size in Russia.
It is a beautiful body of water, stretching from south to north for 75 km.
Clouds are reflected in the clear waters of the lake, which are almost always rushing in the sky above the water surface.
By the way, a unique phenomenon can be observed over the lake – clouds floating in opposite directions.
This happens due to the winds blowing towards each other – verkhovka and nizovka.
On the way to the southern shore, we stop at the Korbu waterfall and have lunch at a cafe.
The twelve-meter waterfall was formed as a result of a natural failure of the Korbu riverbed, originating from the mountain range of the same name.
Korbu Waterfall is not visible from the shore of the lake, but it is not long to walk to it – just a few minutes along the boardwalk and you can already hear the sound of water, almost immediately after that the waterfall itself is visible.
Opposite it is the deepest part of Lake Teletskoye – 323 m.
After the tour and lunch, we continue by boat to the southern shore of the lake.
At Cape Kirsay, the group will board a bus and go to the campsite, where they will spend two nights.
Depending on the time of arrival (there may be a storm on the lake, which will delay the group), the group may take an excursion to the Stone Mushrooms on this day.

Day 3 - Walking tour to the largest cascading waterfall Uchar
We have breakfast in the cafe of the tourist complex.
A day of active recreation.
You will take a walking tour to the largest cascading waterfall in Altai – Chulchinsky (Uchar).
The path to it is about 10 km long, and the same amount back.
For almost the entire route, the trail runs along the edge of a high cliff, at the bottom of which the wayward Chulcha River rushes madly over the rocks.
The trail is difficult, and it requires good physical fitness and sneakers with thick, fluted soles.
Tourists will have to overcome kurumniks, endless ascents and descents, cross small rivers on shaky bridges and walk along a rocky ledge above a ravine.
However, the sight of Uchar is worth all these difficulties!
A huge mass of water is rushing down with speed, crashing against giant rocks.
The noise is so loud that you can't hear a person standing next to you, there's water dust all around.
The total height of the fall is more than 160 meters, it is the highest waterfall in Siberia.
Lunch in the field (tea, sandwiches, vegetables, fruits, sweets).
Return to the t/C.

Day 4 - Excursion to the Pazyryk mounds. Ascent to the Ulagan pass
We have breakfast on the territory of the tourist complex.
If for some reason the group did not manage to get to the Stone Mushrooms on the day of arrival, then there is a chance to get there after breakfast, provided that there are no objective obstacles to the tour.
The decision remains with the guide.
After that, we will move to the village of Ulagan, the district center of the Ulagan district of the republic.
Tourists will have to climb the Katu-Yaryk pass on foot.
This is done based on security considerations.
The road up is steep and narrow, so even the most experienced driver can overturn the car.
The height of the pass from the foot to the top is about 800 meters, the length is 3.5 km.
From the pass, travelers will see a stunning panorama of the Chulyshman Valley.
Great photos are taken on the observation deck.
We get in the car and drive to the regional center.
On the way we stop at the famous Pazyryk mounds.
This is a chain of 5 burial mounds representing the graves of noble nomads and tribal leaders dating back to the 6th-7th centuries BC.

After lunch, the travelers continue along the beautiful Ulagan highway, gradually climbing the Ulagan pass with a height of 2080 meters.
On the Ulagan highlands, which crosses the Ulagan tract, there are many lakes, some of which can be seen without leaving the road.

Day 5 - Horseback riding to Sorolukel Lake
After breakfast at the Malina tourist complex, we load our belongings and equipment into the UAZ.
We need to get to the parking lot at the Ulagan pass.
At the parking lot, we go through a safety briefing on an equestrian tour, get horses, load things, have lunch (sandwiches, tea, vegetables, sweets, canned food) and hit the road.
The horse crossing will take 3-4 hours.
Most of the road passes through Kedrach.
Here, travelers can fully enjoy the unique purity of the mountain air combined with the pleasant aroma of the coniferous forest, which finally banishes thoughts of civilization from their minds.
Through forest clearings and dense thickets of bushes, the trail leads travelers to the mountain lake Beltir and further to the shore of Lake Sorolukel, where they will camp and spend the night.
This is one of the two large lakes in the Aigulak range.
The beauty of it is that the place lies far from popular tourist routes.
There are also fish here.

Day 6 - Equestrian radial exit to the observation peak of the Aigulak ridge
After breakfast we go on the route.
Riding light is more pleasant than riding a loaded horse, and the horses feel better.
We have to climb to the observation point of the ridge.
From the top there are magnificent landscapes: the Kurai steppe, the North Chuisky and South Chuisky ranges.
The eternal snow and ice of these mountain ranges are dazzling in the sun – a person feels like a bird soaring high above the ground.
In good weather, you can see almost all the highest peaks of these ranges: Aktra, Maashey-bashi, Iiktu, etc., and of course enjoy the view of the largest glaciers in the region.
What if there are clouds in the sky? Then, having climbed to the top of Kykashtu-Oyik, you can practically touch them with your hand.
There, under the clouds lies the familiar earth, and above them – another world full of secrets…

Day 7 - The way back to the Altai-Erine parking lot. Ulagan pass. The Red Gate
Before lunch, we descend to the parking lot at the Ulagan pass.
There we say goodbye to the Altai horses and transfer to an off-road “iron horse” to go meet new adventures.
On the way, we stop at the top of the Ulagan pass and take a last look at the surroundings.
Then, on the descent, we exit at the Red Gate.
The road in this place is fenced with high reddish rocks.
This place is both a natural landmark and the work of man.
The passage in the rocks appeared as a result of blasting operations during the construction of the road.
And the red color of the rocks is due to the content of cinnabar.
Also along the way we will come across many picturesque lakes that are located on both sides of the Ulagan highway.
In the village of Aktash, we leave for the Chuisky tract, where lunch is waiting for the group in a cafe.
After lunch, we go down to the starting point of the rafting.
The car crossing ends in the Maly Yaloman tract.

Day 8 - Rafting R. B.Yaloman – Ilgumen threshold – Generalskaya Polyana
After breakfast, we begin to try on the image of water tourists.
First, we put on our equipment and go through safety training on water tours, load our belongings and groceries onto rafts and set off to conquer the main Altai river.
The first serious obstacle on the way is the Ilgumen threshold (difficulty category IV).
It is located near the confluence of the B. Ilgumen River with the Katun River.
The length of the threshold is about 300 m, it is here that the Ak Talai Margaan competitions among water athletes are held in August.
This is followed by the Kadrin Pipe threshold (difficulty category III).
This is a series of water obstacles for about 10 km.
A "pipe" is called a narrowing riverbed.
Because of this, the turbulent stream gathers speed and, together with the stones lying on the bottom, forms obstacles – barrels, shafts, rifts.
It sounds alarming, but don't worry – our water instructors are professional athletes who will guide you through the most difficult sections!
This day ends above the threshold of the Sabbath in Generalskaya Polyana.

Day 9 - Generalskaya Polyana — the mouth of the Kayancha River
Breakfast is prepared by the guides at the campfire.
After breakfast — exit to the route.
On this day, you will have to overcome 2 steps of the Sabbath threshold (IV difficulty category) and 3 steps of the Kayancha threshold (II cat. difficulties).
The rafting of this day ends at the mouth of the Kayancha River.

Day 10 - Kayancha — Kuyus River rafting. Transfer to Taezhnik railway station. Exit
The final day of rafting and the easiest. The main obstacle is the Ayulinsky threshold (difficulty category II).
There will be an opportunity to relax, swim in the Katun River (with the permission of the guide!), and sunbathe in good weather.
After the rafting in the area of Kuyus village, tourists transfer to cars and move to the Taezhnik tourist complex.
Dinner at the cafe. The end of the program. Transfers are paid for independently.
We recommend buying plane tickets with departure the next day.
For those departing from Gorno-Altaysk airport, overnight in tents on the territory of the tourist complex is free of charge, in yurts (if there are actual places, they cannot be booked in advance), or in rooms for an additional fee (if available, you need to book in advance).

It's important to know

a backpack (up to 40 liters), a suitcase or a large travel bag, that is, something in which it is convenient to carry things to the base, special means are provided on the route for transporting things – an archimak (saddlebag) and a drive bag.;
hiking shoes, preferably boots that can be leather, rubber, or canvas, as long as they do not get wet and cover the boot from rubbing against a stirrup strap or high boots;
running shoes or trekking boots for radial exits. Avoid new shoes that haven't been worn.;
replacement shoes for camping (slates);
comfortable clothing for horseback riding and walking radial crossings – sweatpants that do not restrict movement, made of lightweight, quick-drying material, without rough inner seams, a shirt or a long-sleeve T-shirt. Windbreaker made of thick material. A suit for hunters or fishermen, or something similar, is suitable, as long as it is comfortable and not rustling.;
a set of clothes for recreation in the camp – trousers, shirt, shorts, T-shirt;

Delivery from Gorno-Altaysk

The cost of group delivery from Gorno-Altaysk airport to the Taezhnik tourist complex (round trip) as a gift upon purchase of this tour.

Advice from the tour organizers: to buy flights to the airport of Gorno-Altaysk (the capital of the Altai Republic) with the arrival time until 12:00 because the delivery from the airport to the Taiga takes 25 minutes. Delivery from Barnaul (Altai Territory, neighboring region) to Taiga takes 4-5 hours.

The meeting at the airport of Gorno-Altaysk is carried out according to the time of arrival of the aircraft.

We ask you to inform us about the actual delays in departure time by text message, NOT by phone (to be indicated on the voucher), so that we can meet you on time. We will inform you about which car will meet you either on the evening before arrival or during your flight.

We kindly ask that you turn on your phones immediately after boarding the plane so that the drivers can contact you, and take with you the phones whose numbers are indicated in the application.

A group transfer means that if you and other tourists arrive on flights with a landing gap of less than 1 hour, those who arrived earlier will wait for the next plane and the tourists arriving on it to board.

It is possible to arrange an individual transfer from / to the airport to Taiga, if you do not wish to travel by group transfer, starting from 2500 rubles / car (one way) capacity — from 1 to 4 people.

Attention! One day before the start of the route, tourists are sent the car number and the phone number of the driver who meets them. Therefore, please provide the correct phone numbers so that it is convenient to contact the driver. For those arriving at the airport in Gorno-Altaysk, the driver's contacts and driver's number are sent immediately before arrival.

The rest of the delivery is for an additional fee.

The order of the delivery option is carried out at any time from the moment of booking the tour, but no later than 7 days before the start of the tour.

Recommendations for delivery from Novosibirsk

Delivery from Novosibirsk in both directions is carried out independently on regular buses of the Novosibirsk bus station, or on tourist buses, depending on the selected date of the tour. If tourist buses do not run on the day you need, you can purchase tickets yourself on the ticket sales website or at the ticket offices of the Novosibirsk bus station.

To make it to the start of the tour, you need to purchase a ticket for the Novosibirsk — Chemal flight to the Manzherok village stop (get off before reaching 2.5 km to the village near the monument to Shishkov, or at the Taezhnik shopping center, which you can ask the driver in advance) with the departure time from the bus station at 22:15 (from the bus station located at the railway stationrailway station -22:45), departure date on the day preceding the start date of the tour.

Tickets can be purchased 10 days before departure day.

The return trip is carried out by bus from Chemal to Novosibirsk, the departure time from Taezhnik t/c is 22:40-23:00, the bus must be stopped at Taezhnik t/c. The arrival time in Novosibirsk is 7:15 a.m., this should be taken into account when purchasing tickets from Novosibirsk. The cost of delivery depends on the cost of flight tickets.

Recommendations for delivery from Barnaul

Delivery is carried out by private carriers and at the rates of private carriers, payment is made on the spot to the driver (the tour operator only helps with the organization of delivery).

Meeting at Barnaul airport (from 5:50 a.m. to 7:50 a.m.), meeting at Barnaul railway station from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

If you arrived in Barnaul in advance or live there, you will coordinate the meeting place with the driver, he will pick you up if he is on his way, if not, he will indicate the meeting place.

The car leaves if the delivery team is assembled in full.

The driver will have your contact phone numbers, along with information about the place and time of the meeting, and the driver will contact you.

Cars do NOT set off on the route without meeting all tourists, provided that all planes arrive on time (the waiting time can be adjusted by 1 hour).

If the plane is delayed by 1 hour or more, the cars that have been formed are sent on the flight, your contact information is sent to the driver of another car, and the departure time depends on the set of cars.
