Day 1 - Meeting, Arkhangelsk and Severodvinsk
Arrival in Arkhangelsk. Self-check-in at the hotel.

Not everyone knows that Mikhail Vasilyevich Lomonosov was born in the village of Mishaninsky, Arkhangelsk province.
The tour is a story not only about the centuries—old history of the first commercial sea port of Russia — Arkhangelsk, about its main attractions, events and famous people, but also about places that are associated with the name of our famous countryman.

Excursion "Severodvinsk — the city by the White Sea".
Severodvinsk is the second largest city in the Arkhangelsk Region, an industrial and port giant, and a center of nuclear shipbuilding.
A city tour will introduce you to the history of the city of Severodvinsk and the Russian submarine fleet.
In the Museum of local lore you will find a special interactive program-a story dedicated to the device of a nuclear submarine.
By assembling a "construction boat", you can learn about technical solutions, how nuclear submarines are built, about their internal structure and equipment of premises.
Transfer to the shore of the White Sea on the island of Yagry.
A walk along the picturesque seashore, which pleases guests with sand dunes in summer and amazes with icy silence in winter. The southern coast of the Arctic is made up of centuries–old pine trees, amazing sunsets and icy hummocks of the White Sea.
Return to Arkhangelsk after 19:00.

Day 2 - Kholmogory is the birthplace of Lomonosov
Breakfast at the hotel.
07:30 Bus tour "Kholmogory and the homeland of Lomonosov". An unforgettable trip to the homeland of Mikhail Vasilyevich Lomonosov awaits guests.
The village of Lomonosovo is located on the Kurostrov near the village of Kholmogory. This is a land with a rich history and culture — the territory of ancient fortresses, monasteries and temples, the first merchant shipyard and skillful lace bone carving.
In summer, you can get to the island by ferry, and in winter by ice road (winter road).
At the Lomonosov Museum, the building of which is located on the site where the Lomonosov house was supposedly located, guests will get acquainted with the history and discoveries of the great scientist, as well as learn about the life of that time.
At the master class of bone carving, they will create a souvenir, and after that they will walk through the village to the white stone temple of Dmitry Solunsky.
Lunch at the cafe in the middle of the program.
Return to Arkhangelsk after 16:00.
Free time. Dinner on your own.
During the off-season (November-December and April-May), it is possible to replace the excursion with the "Heritage of the land of Kholmogorskaya": a visit to the Holy Trinity Antonievsky Monastery and the village of Kholmogory.

Day 3 - The Maly Korely Museum

09:00 Excursion "Wooden architecture of the Russian North" to the museum "Maly Korely".
Malye Korely is Russia's largest open-air museum-reserve of wooden architecture.
Chapels, mills, barns, collected in the museum from all over the Arkhangelsk region, are located on a huge territory among the forest.
Time seemed to stand still here. The museum is a window into the distant past: into the world of brave pomors, hunters, loggers, farmers.
"Small Korels" cherish traditions and give travelers the opportunity to touch the rich cultural heritage of the region.

For an additional fee, an excursion "The Mystery of the northern gingerbread" with a master class on painting the northern gingerbread - "kozuli".
The name of the traditional gingerbread "goat" comes from the Pomeranian word for "curl", "snake". Arkhangelsk goat is flat, made of gingerbread dough, with white sugar and colored glaze.
Once gingerbread men in Arkhangelsk began baking goats two months before Christmas in molds made of iron, and in December they were painted with elegant sugars. Goats were given to children and used as decorations, and recipes were passed down from generation to generation.
